25.01.2022 The times and dates I will be cutting silhouettes at the Queen Victoria Building are: Thursdays 22nd and 29th of November from 4pm to 8pm, Thursdays 6th and 13th of December from 4pm to 8pm, Friday 14th of December from 2pm to 6pm, Saturday 15th of December from 11am to 3pm... Thursday 20th of December from 4pm to 8pm. The silhouettes are complimentary and a copy of each guest’s silhouette will go into a guestbook and become part of the historical archive of QVB! In years to come, people will be able to and see the silhouettes of friends and family. Please come by and say hello!

19.01.2022 Johnathon surprised his wife, Tiese, with a unique first year wedding anniversary present! The gift theme for first year is paper, so Silhouettes cut from black paper make a perfect gift. Normally, by folding the paper in half, a pair of Silhouettes is created, however by inserting an extra piece of paper, I was able to cut 3 Silhouettes of each person. This meant that Johnathon and Tiese were able to give extra copies to their parents.

19.01.2022 Here I am at the Art Gallery of New South Wales cutting silhouettes for the guests of a company called Nova Employment, a wonderful organisation that finds employment for disabled people. The photos are from a month ago. This is the second time I have worked at the art gallery and Nova were so pleased they have invited me to cut silhouettes again tonight!

14.01.2022 I recently cut a silhouette for Maria, a lovely lady who owns a business making ties and clothing in the nearby suburbs of Marrickville. I have some silhouette cutting work coming up soon at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney and needed to have some vests made.

12.01.2022 Here are some photos of me cutting silhouettes at the Queen Victoria Building in the heart of Sydney. Some guests were tourists who really enjoyed the experience of having a special silhouette memento of their travels to Sydney. It still amazes me that so few people have ever seen a silhouette artist live and find it unbelievable that there are no cameras or devices used. It is just an eye for details, black paper and the magic in the scissors! I find it satisfying that silhouettes I have enjoyed creating, will be displayed in homes from all around the world!

12.01.2022 My sons, Geoffrey and George, attended the birthday party of Isabella, a girl from George's class at school. Being a silhouette artist, naturally I cut silhouettes of Isabella! As gifts, silhouettes create lasting memories as the years roll by, becoming valuable heirlooms.

04.01.2022 Jacquelyn and Murray invited me to cut silhouettes at their wedding in the beautiful countryside of the Hunter Valley 3 hours drive north of Sydney. I did silhouettes of them months ago and they had the wooden cover of their guestbook laser etched based on these silhouettes!

04.01.2022 Here is today’s work, a silhouette of a pretty little girl with a ponytail. Her mum emailed me her photo and I created a facing pair silhouettes from the photo and sent them by mail. In years to come, silhouettes become treasured mementos to be enjoyed for years to come.

02.01.2022 We were invited to cut souvenir silhouettes at Jenna’s batmitzva. It was held at Baker Street Dance Studio. All the tables, chairs, catering and decorations were brought in for the event which had a beautiful flowers and natural wood theme. Folding the paper in half creates a pair of Silhouettes, one for each guest and a copy which Jenna’s mum is going to make into some kind of collage. Silhouettes make great mementos and increase in sentimental value as time goes by.
