21.01.2022 Hi everyone just wanted to touch base with you all. Firstly, as you all know the lockdown has been extended until 26th October, dependant on numbers. All appointments between now and then have been cancelled and everyone has been notified. Ive decided not to take any future bookings until the government has given us a definite opening date, things are so uncertain at the moment and I will more than likely have to reschedule them again anyhow. Next, I have had many messag...es about me retailing professional hair colour. Unfortunately I cant do this but I have a bunch of retail including customised semi permanent toning masks, toning shampoo and conditioners and toning mousse. These are great for refreshing and brightening blonde, toning down highlights or refreshing and old colour. Unfortunately they will not cover grey (sorry ladies) or lift your regrowth. 06.01.2022 *****UPDATE***** Good morning! I just wanted to give you all an update as to where I am at. I AM STILL OPEN!! A little confused as to why the government havnt told us hairdressers to close yet but also grateful. I will keep you updated as things change. I am following all the government laws and recommendations with cleaning and social distancing. I have completely had to change my working hours as I now have both of my boys home all day. Im only working a few hours each... night and have very limited clients in order to adere to the social distancing laws. I am also now working on my own as the social distancing means that unfortunately our lovely Sophie cant be here. We will miss her very much but she will be back once this nightmare is over. I am fully booked until after easter. Anyone who is booked in after easter I will be calling to reschedule appointments to fit with the changes. Please be patient with me. I am doing the best I can to accomodate everyone along with stringent cleaning measures to keep us all safe. Also I am not taking on any new clients at the moment. As hairdressers have been classed as an essential service we will continue to trade, however we do have a few new measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our clients, our community and ourselves. ... Please arrive on time for your appointment, not early or late as we need to monitor the amount of people in the salon. Please arrive for your appointment alone where possible. We will be checking temperatures on entry and providing you with hand sanitiser. You will also be required to sign the form for contact tracing. Masks are available if you would prefer to wear them. The salon chairs have been adequately spaced for social distancing and appointments have been allocated to suit the guidelines. Magazines are not available so please bring a book or you are welcome to use our WiFi (its not great, sorry ) If you are not feeling well in anyway please cancel your appointment (no matter how little notice) If possible can you please park on Charter road (alongside our house) to reduce congestion in Arable st. 01.01.2022 SKIP THE CONDITIONER. You heard us right, for our Khairpep Masque to be most effective, skip the conditioner. WHY Conditioners... typically use silicones and other heavy conditioning agents that coat the hair and prevent Khairpep from reaching the cortex. Khairpep works and repairs in the Cortex, so if its blocked by conditioner you wont see results. SO NO CONDITIONER AT ALL?? During your initial treatment phase we recommend applying Khairpep for 4-6 consecutive washes that means: shampoo (skip the conditioner), towel dry, apply Khairpep and let it sit for 4 minutes. If extra hydration is needed, you can apply a leave-in conditioner AFTER the 4 minutes. Following the initial treatment phase of 4-6 washes, you move into maintenance mode where youre only using the Khairpep Masque every 3-4 shampoos. The process is the same for days when you use Khairpep, skip the conditioner. During maintenance mode you can absolutely use conditioner on days when youre not applying Khairpep Masque.
