21.01.2022 Fabric! I am working on new art work to have printed onto cotton poplin for selling retail as I’ve had so many requests this year. I already have an Aussie Shabby Chic design and am currently working on these blue wrens. I’ll also be doing one for the boys with blue tongues, frill necks and thorny devils plus others. It will be available some time next year because I have a lot of art to paint first but if you would like to keep in the loop for it’s release please head over to the group Fabric Among The Gum Trees

21.01.2022 Female Red-tailed Black Cockatoo Hoping to paint some Banksia flowers to go behind her soon. I will also paint the male and then have prints available with both male and female as single prints or one with both together. I hope you all like her!

17.01.2022 One of my favourite orders to make is these custom 3 packs of handkerchiefs. It’s always a little bit exciting to see which combinations my customers choose! I’m actually expecting my next batch of handkerchief fabric to arrive today and will be busy sewing, photographing and uploading them to my website.

16.01.2022 Tea Towels for Saving Kyloring! The Western Ground Parrot "One of the forgotten Australian bushfire victims" also known as Kyloring (Noongar). These tea towels are available now via my website for $26.95 with a large portion of the profits being directly donated to Friends of the Western Ground Parrot. Featuring my water colour art work of three beautiful Western Ground Parrots and native flora from around their habitat. There is thought to be less than only 150 left in the... wild and possibly less since the Esperance fires in December. One of Australia's rarest and most endangered birds, they are not only affected by fires but also by foxes and feral cats because they nest on the ground. Please help to raise funds for these precious little birds https://silkentwine.com.au//coming-soon-saving-kyloring-te

16.01.2022 Now Available here ---> https://silkentwine.com.au//coming-soon-saving-kyloring-te My latest water colour project! The Western Ground Parrot "One of the forgotten Australian bushfire victims" also known as Kyloring (in Noongar). I feel really strongly about helping these little guys because there is thought to be less than only 150 left in the wild and possibly less since the Esperance fires in December. One of the worlds rarest and most endangered birds, they are not only ...affected by fires but also by foxes and feral cats because they nest on the ground. I lived in Esperance WA for 19 years of my life so it's kind of close to home and I feel really passionate about helping. I'm planning a beautiful tea towel design with these birds on and some native flowers from their area and I will be donating them to the Friends of the Western Ground Parrot so they can hopefully sell them to Kyloring loving customers and raise much needed funds. I will also have them available on my website and will donate a portion of the profits towards this important charity. Keep an eye out for the flowers next! See more

15.01.2022 Here is something a little different from my normal art. I’m working on fabric designs and am creating one for the boys, the last reptile I need to paint will be a frill neck lizard. I think I might put little trails of ants in between them once I’ve scanned them into my lap top I will then have 3 designs ready to go but I want more! So I’m thinking maybe rosellas next

04.01.2022 Flat out painting this weekend! Here is the Western Ground Parrots accompanying flora. Using their common names we have the Esperance Banksia, the Cape Arid Grevillea and the Swamp Bottlebrush. Now I have to scan them into my laptop, edit the back grounds out and arrange them into the tea towel designs with the birds and the text "Saving Kyloring". This is may favorite part (except removing the back ground) ha ha. Can't wait to start piecing it together!
