24.01.2022 Silky Transport will be closing this Christmas. Just a heads up next week is our last week, last day will be Friday the 20th. Returning the 6th Jan 2020! We thank you for all your support over the 2019 year. Again, it’s been great and we appreciated all of our loyal and new customers. Happy and safe festive season.

24.01.2022 To all our lovely customers. Our Van is off the road again, RIP. never fear we have our hands on a Crafter van to use in the mean time. We are back on track and hoping for a speedy outcome with a replacement van. Thanks everyone for being so patient!!!

17.01.2022 Merry Christmas from all of us at Silky. It’s been a very busy 2018 with the addition of the second van. Can not thank Bert Taylor enough for the hard work and hours he does on the road, well done. Days for the next couple of weeks Monday 24 - on the road Tuesday 25 closed... Wednesday 26 closed Thursday 27 closed Friday 28 - on the road Monday 31 - on the road Tuesday 1 - closed Wednesday 2 closed Thursday 3 - on the road back to normal from here on out. Safe and happy new year everyone and thank you to all of our lovely customers, new and old, for your support. 14.01.2022 *** PUBLIC HOLIDAY THIS WEEK *** Silky Transport will not be operating this coming Thursday due to the Royal Hobart Show public holiday. We are of course operating Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - so book in your deliveries!!

We are based in Bicheno travelling to Hobart every week day, returning back to home base in Bicheno each arvo. 10.01.2022 Silky will soon be taking a short break after a long, busy and productive time! We will recharge and be back....... with the addition of a SECOND VAN on the road. From the 23rd of July till the 9th Aug: please note we may not be able to take on extra deliveries. Thank you to all your loyal and lovely customers over the last 5 years.

08.01.2022 Today Danny had his last day on the road being Mr Silky. Thank you for all the kind words, msgs and emails. It’s been a blast over the past 6 odd years. To all our loyal customers (old and new) THANK YOU, we appreciate all the support you gave us over the years. We will hand over the reins now to Barney, who will hit the road Monday morning as usual. Same contact number 0418 387 057, this Facebook page will also continue. We wish Barney all the best and know he will do well and be just as silky smooth .

Cargo Going South (Bicheno to Hobart) - Items will be collected in the afternoon for next business day delivery. ... We will of course do our best to accommodate all requests so please just give us a call anytime!!

05.01.2022 For only the second time in 6 years there is snow on the roads we travel !! Wowsers. Sorry guys but Silky isn’t on the road today. Road was closed early this morning so we made the decision to not attempt the drive down from Bicheno. Apologies to customers booked in, hopefully tomorrow and Friday see safer roads conditions. Stay safe and warm everyone!

04.01.2022 It's that time of year when all of us blokes get the chance to grow a MO and help support men's health! Too many of us lads are lost every day to preventable illnesses. If you're a bloke and you have even a small thought that you might need something checked - just do it! If you're a lady, encourage the men in your life to get checked. And if you can, any donations are much appreciated - either via our page, or if you see us on the road we will have a collection tin at the ready! Apologies to Jemah for the dirty slug on my top lip!! (hopefully you'll actually be able to see it by the end of the month and all)
