25.01.2022 I seem to be working my way through the animal kingdom.....Lincoln the Lion
25.01.2022 Even though it has been a little chilly in the Sillee Billee wood working shed, it has still been productive. What a great farm shed. With front opening doors, hinged back roof and a well appointed carry handle. It also includes animals, tractor and a beaut Ute. They all fit inside.
25.01.2022 The view from my sewing room a few minutes ago. What a glorious day it has been
25.01.2022 This little group of Australian animals are made from sustainable timber and have wood burned features. They come in this handy little Australian themed pouch.
21.01.2022 I can’t believe how delectable this fabric is, colour, pattern, quality and feel. I have never bought a pack of fabrics before but it certainly won’t be the last. This fabric just made me think of bunnies immediately and I am not disappointed with the result.... Pip the bunny
20.01.2022 Baby foxes. They are 15cm with a bell inside their tummies. Made in super soft fleece, which makes them easy to wash.
19.01.2022 This sweet mini bear stands only 9cm tall, is made in mohair and all hand stitched. She has some steel shot in part of her limbs and tummy to give her some weight. I think her new owner has already named her Pixie.
18.01.2022 Now we have sweet tiny Micah bunnies snuggled in their beds. Safe for the smallest hands to hold
18.01.2022 I have had my sewing machine since 1983. I never realised how simple and how much fun I could have with a few fancy stitches. I’m a Sillee Billee I could go crazy now.
17.01.2022 Does this woollen fabric remind you of anything from way back? It was the fabric used for electric blankets. If you look at the second photo you can see the channels where the electric leads would have been threaded. Now it is being repurposed into cuddly toys. Win win!!
17.01.2022 This is Euccy Koala another one of my favourite toys that I make. They always look so happy. This lot is made in a soft stretchy cord like fabric with wool material for the tummy. It would be ideal for a small or older child. No buttons or loose bits to come off. Euccy measures 34cm. Great gift for an overseas present.
16.01.2022 We are always so pleased to see some of our happy little customers. Thank you to the Mums and Dads for sharing these special pics.
16.01.2022 Gary the Giraffe is the new addition today
13.01.2022 This hairy little fellow is Rebel. He stands only 12cm tall and is all hand stitched. Rebel is made in a beautiful mohair fabric. Tomorrow he goes to his new home.
12.01.2022 A new dolly has joined the crew. LuLu.
11.01.2022 These two bunnies are off to their new home today...safe travel friends
10.01.2022 What a perfect day it would be for horse riding. Neddy
10.01.2022 A lovely customer sent me this photo of dolls that I made probably 30 years ago. The grandmother purchased one of these dolls for all of her grand daughters, now that’s what I call a loyal customer, thank you so much. I have been making toys for 42 years now and how the styles and trends have changed over the years. I guess that is why I have never lost the love of making them Thanks Lynne for the photo.
06.01.2022 Arabella is keeping watch over her dollhouse. For easy access the front opens by undoing the buttons on the side. Then everything can be neatly packed inside after playtime.
06.01.2022 I seem to be dilly dallying lately. I can’t decide which project to start on first. Anyway I am quite happy with this little group.
04.01.2022 New one.....Dougal
02.01.2022 Morris Monkey would make an adorable bestie. He is 35cm tall made in either new wool or from a recycled vintage blanket.
02.01.2022 AVALANCHE!!!! Not quite what I had planned for today. First job, to sort this pile of woollen blankets out. Note to self, try not to pull out the one near the bottom
