14.01.2022 Well we told you something exciting was on its way. We now stock #patonsyarn in our Narooma Craft store. We are starting with the gorgeous Sierra variegated 8 ply in these stunning colours for $12.99 per 150g ball. This yarn is 20% wool 80% acrylic and is just so soft to touch. As well as the new Sierra yarn we have finally got some pattern books available. You guys have been asking for them so here they are. We have selected a few to get started which hopefully covers your n...eeds but we also have a catalogue in store if you are after something different. We are also able to order yarns from Patons, Panda, Heirloom, Cleckheaton & Sheperd. We have also received our pure wool which is 100% pure New Zealand wool in 50g balls for $3.99 per ball. This one is available at the Moruya store as well as the craft store. Unlike the supermarkets we havent restricted quantities and we have a huge supply of yarn and craft supplies you can add to your collection to keep you busy whilst you practice social distancing. 12.01.2022 Although none of the Silly Willys stores have been directly impacted by fire intermittent power supplies are affecting our opening hours. The Narooma plaza and Moruya stores are operating as power supply allows. The Narooma craft store will hopefully reopen Wednesday however all stores may close at short notice. ... There is a delivery of 15litre purified drinking water bottles arriving at the Narooma plaza and Moruya stores today. Our online craft store is still operating however postage times may be affected. 11.01.2022 Whilst all of our stores are still trading as usual throughout the current health crisis we know that in our small community there are many high risk customers. We understand that many of you will choose to self isolate or if you are still leaving the house would rather practice social distancing. Whilst visiting any of our stores rest assured that we are doing what we can to keep high contact surfaces cleaned regularly and our staff are washing their hands and using hand san...itizer regularly. The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number 1 priority. For those of you that want to craft to keep busy and need supplies we have added a pick up in store option to our online craft store in the shipping options. This will allow you to purchase and pay for your order online and we will have it packed ready for pick up at our Narooma craft store (during normal trading hours)to either reduce the time you need to be in the store or allow you to arrange for someone who is not at risk or quarantined to pick it up for you. You will still need to wait to be notified that it is ready for pick up but we will do our best to make this as quick as possible. Please note that our craft store is only operated by 1 staff member at any time so delays might occur but this is a temporary option that we will trial to assist our at risk community members. Alternatively we welcome you to phone the store with your requirements and pay over the phone if you are unable to, or choose not to order online. 06.01.2022 Hands up if you enjoy #rockpainting Well you arent the only one cause here in Narooma lots of locals are loving it and we know people right across NSW and Australia are too. During the recent bushfire emergency whilst many of us were keeping safe or evacuated from our homes we found our arts and crafts helped distract us from the anxiety and fear surrounding us. These stunning rocks were painted by a very talented family who were holidaying in Narooma with their family and... they created these masterpieces during one of the evacuations whilst they were staying at @theviewnarooma keeping safe. They then hid these rocks nearby for people to find. Thank you @artistikcreations for visiting our craft store and buying your supplies and thank you for putting a smile on many faces during such a hard time.
