It’s not all bad news though! We will still be doing takeaways. We kindly ask that any customers wanting takeaway please either call us or message us on here to order in advance.... 13.01.2022 Due to current events, we have decided to close our doors for the foreseeable future. We need to put the safety of our staff and customers first. We will be using this (hopefully short) hiatus to focus on our loved ones and come back better than ever. We appreciate all the love and support we have received over the past few days, from all over Australia. It’s hard to put into words how much all your kind words, shares and support have meant to us. Until next time, Silo - A ...message from our manager The greatest thing about hospitality to me is that we are family. I am in a unique position of working alongside my actual family as well as the people I get to call my adopted family. It is with a heavy heart that I say this, but in all good conscience, I cannot allow us to trade and put my family at risk any longer. Silo will close until further notice. Nothing to me is worth putting my happy little family at risk. We will pull through this. We will come back stronger. We will be here when all the dust settles. We will have everything you have loved and will continue to love. My heart is broken, but also full, knowing everyone is here supporting small businesses. 13.01.2022 Dear our beloved Silo customers, With all the uneasy times happening at the moment, we encourage all our customers and staff to please follow the recommended hygiene practices. We are ensuring all tables, counters and doors are wiped and cleaned regularly and thoroughly. To minimise risk, we request all purchases are made electronically (card) to avoid any cash handling. We will also only be using take away cups for all coffee orders. This includes the refusal of personal k...eep cups. Some tables have been removed to ensure social distancing. Starting off we will be open for takeaway only - 7am - 2pm Tues till Sat - Maintaing a distance of 1.5m. ... With a limited amount of customers inside at one time. We will then gradually be allowing dine in customers with limited seating available. We will also require all dine in customers to provide their name and number as instructed by ACT Healths new stage 2 plan. It’s pretty simple, rye is more nutritional then your basic white flour and both rye and white flour contain more protein than your everyday flour. The higher the protein the easier it is to hold its shape during mixing, moulding and baking, which gives you the open crumb structure you’ll find in all our sourdoughs!
