09.01.2022 On Episode 023 of the Podcast your heard from Volunteer Fire Fighting Captain Craig White from the Hester Brook Fire Brigade. The Bridgetown Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade - Fire Support held an informative learning and training exercise which was well attended by home owners and land holders. Practical information about being Fire Prepared for the Fire season ahead was issued to everyone that attended. The Hester Brigade, DFES staff and volunteers gave good information on learnings from past fires with an emphasis on being prepared, watch and act. As mentioned on the Podcast you can see that small Knapsack Sprayers can be used for wetting down volatile areas in the event of a fire likely to approach or commence.
