19.01.2022 Each Friday a member of our staff at Silvan Ridge volunteers at Warrnambool And District Food Share. Some pretty amazing facts to think about in terms of Foodshare are... Last year volunteers prepared 5000 hampers for over 2,200 families. 12,500 people, 800 groups through 102 registered agencies in the South West. These amazing people distributed 141 tonnes of food . More than 88 tonnes was donated locally.... If you would like to be involved with Foodshare, please do not hesitate to contact our office on 03 5559 7111 and we will be able to assist.

13.01.2022 UPDATES IN POST BELOW... What a beautiful morning for tee off at 6am! A big day ahead for Nigel and Phil - awesome effort raising funds for Lets Talk. ... 8am update - 1 round down (38 points each) ! 9am update - 25 holes in. Midday update - 45 holes done (lunch time!). Latest update - 18 holes to go!! 3pm update - 9 holes to go, what an effort in this heat. 4:30pm update - nearly there, onto the 16th (few tired shots now!).

08.01.2022 This week the Silvan Ridge Foundation was delighted to donate scientific calculators to the following schools; Brauer College, Warrnambool College and Portland Secondary College. As many of you may be aware, these can be a huge expensive to a lot of families at this time of the year, so it is lovely to be able to assist. Pictured below is Lia Rantall, one of the Foundation Board Members, presenting 3 calculators to Warrnambool College staff member, Lara Walton.

07.01.2022 The Silvan Ridge Foundation are proud to support the Standing Tall in Warrnambool program. 4 of our staff members volunteer an hour of their time each week to be Mentors for students from Warrnambool and Brauer College. This is part of the Foundations initiative to allow staff time to volunteer in the local community.... #MakingADifference

07.01.2022 The annual financial calculator school initiative is in full swing again! The Silvan Ridge Foundation proudly supports local schools with the purchase and donation of financial calculators to assist in senior math studies!!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Brayden Harkness and his mentee Ricki on graduating from the Standing Tall in Warrnambool program this week. This program is a wonderful initiative and the Silvan Ridge Foundation are proud to support it by allowing staff to volunteer as mentors each week.

05.01.2022 LAST CHANCE to enter The Silvan Ridge Foundation 2018 FOOTY TIPPING! This competition is open to all our clients, associates, footy fans and those who just want to get involved. The rules are as follows:... 1. The entry fee is $30.00. Please complete your registration using the details below before Round 1 (22/03/2018). Entry fees are to be made to our office prior to round 3 of the competition to avoid suspension from tipping. 2. End of year prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and second last placed participants. The weekly prize for selecting 9 correct tips will be 3 points added to your total score. End of year prizes will be; First Place - $500.00, Second Place - $200.00, Third Place - $100.00 and Second Last Place - $50.00. 3. Each participant will be required to enter their tips on the website www.footytips.com.au by the first bounce of the first game of the round. Those who do not have access to the internet can make alternative arrangements with our office to enter their tips (e.g. via telephone). 03.01.2022 Along with our staff volunteering at the Warrnambool And District Food Share each Friday morning, we are delighted to be able to also assist in purchasing this Fridge for the organisation to store the hampers in. The Silvan Fridge is a very welcomed addition by the looks of things.

This is an initiative where one staff member brings lunch for everyone to enjoy and a...ll proceeds are donated to the Silvan Ridge Foundation. This week Grace and Tom have prepared delicious Pulled Pork Rolls - they have been a big hit, well done .

02.01.2022 The Silvan Ridge Foundation would like to thank everyone who was involved in the running of our movie night The Lion King on Monday Night, and everyone who came along and donated or purchased some raffle tickets. The night was a huge success and we were able to raise a total of $3,000, of which we were very happy to donate $1,500 each to Warrnambool And District Food Share & Warrnambool Special Developmental School. In addition, the Silvan Ridge Foundation decided to donate a further $1,000 to the Warrnambool Special Development School to assist them with their new facilities! A big thank you to all our staff for their help in making the night run so smoothly!

02.01.2022 A big congratulations to all involved, in particular Nigel and Phil for raising close to $1,600 for Lets Talk yesterday by completing the 72 holes of golf - wonderful effort!
