16.01.2022 Thankyou to everybody who showed up to our Jersey Presentation last night! The night was a huge success. We would love to say a massive Thankyou to The Nar Nar Goon Hotel for hosting us, and Derrimut 24:7 Gym, Infinite Potential, Melbourne Stars, The Good Guys, and the Pakenham Golf Club for their very generous contributions towards our fundraising for the evening.

11.01.2022 Saturday evening in Ballarat saw the sun setting on our season. A tough game of Ironman football against the Falcons was a bittersweet but fitting way to end our the year. (def. 12 - 66) With our remaining game a default win, we will close out the season on a 2 - 10 record. A huge thank you from the Silverbacks goes to all the mums and dads, wives, partners, kids, friends and colleagues that helped us get through the season (or at least didn’t complain too much with all the t...ime we spent away). With more new faces in the men’s, a growing interest among local juniors and 200+ local students experiencing the game with us, the club will continue to grow. Our best wishes to the rest of the league as they prepare for finals. For now, our eyes are on 2020.

03.01.2022 Game day is finally here, with the Silverbacks starting their 2019 men's season tonight, playing away against the Geelong Buccaneers (kick-off 6pm). This game will be a huge learning experience for a FRESH-looking Silverbacks with at least 6 rookies starting on either side of the ball. Team captains Darryn Jenkins, Mitch Farrant & Chris 'Yankie' Atwater will provide leadership on the field. The sidelines will see the debut of HC Richie Howlett & DC Zane Moran....
