This is a regional dish from the hilltop town of Erice in Sicily and we were lucky enough to find the original recipe to make when we returned. It is traditionally served with a bowl of fish broth and also has a lovely pesto made with almonds, garlic and parsley. Cinnamon is a subtle addition to this recipe which is a unique flavour to add to seafood, setting this dish apart from anything... we have ever had.
