15.01.2022 PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD WINNER "DADDYS GOTCHA" by Evelyn Owen, a local of Rydal, is the proud winner of the Silver Birches Art Show Peoples Choice Award for the 2018 Daffodils at Rydal Festival. The beautiful charcoal tells the story of a gentleman, who was advised by the vet that swimming was the best physio and pain relief for his dear old dog in his latter years, and each day, the pair would head into the water and float, sharing some very peaceful and pain free moments... with each other. Congratulations Evelyn on winning the Silver Birches $250 Peoples Choice Award! Evelyn has also sold this piece during our first art show!

14.01.2022 This September will see the 2nd Silver Birches Art Show, hosting the works of many more local artists as part of the 2019 Daffodils at Rydal Festival! Last years art show was a roaring success, with local Rydal resident Evelyn Owens winning the $250 Peoples Choice Award, and various artists selling many of their amazing pieces. Entry forms will be available soon, so get those paints, pencils, pens, crayons- or whichever medium you should choose to work, ready to be hung on our cosy homely walls for another successful year of the Silver Birches Art Show!

A huge thank you to our local and very talented artists for participating in our very first art show here at Silver Birches, without you it would not have been such a huge success!
