25.01.2022 The sun came out and joined with us to bid farewell to a much loved and missed husband, father and grandfather. Heartfelt tributes and those memories that will never be forgotten.

24.01.2022 As of today, we are now able to have 50 attendees at funeral services and still offer streaming for extended family and friends. Its nice to be able to share such a special farewell with loved ones still maintaining social distancing. Don't hesitate to call if you have concerns, be safe.

21.01.2022 We've had some very sad and trying times these past few days as we have been entrusted with the care of families during a time of profound loss. Grief is the natural response to the loss of a loved one, there are many expressions to grief and all are heartbreaking. During the days, weeks, months and years to come, life will be different as those that grieve adjust to a different path. It is without doubt a privilege and honour to support and provide comfort to the families in our care and provide the professional guidance our select celebrants bring. As we move forward in these trying times, our quality of care is still the most paramount with honesty and reliability. 21.01.2022 The newest addition to the Silver Dove family......a beautiful Peace Lilly....she's still young but very apt for her new home. I think we will call her 'Lilly' ....together we will provide care and comfort to those that come to our home.

11.01.2022 It is never a good day to lose a loved one, never a good day to say goodbye but we each must all take part in the farewell and commence the journey through the days, weeks and months learning to live life without that special person. Over these past weeks families have struggled with farewells amidst health restrictions, sadly a situation that whilst necessary to protect our community have been difficult for some families, especially cultural needs. Gratitude to our local ve...nues that have provided streaming to those extended family and friends. As time passes, restrictions are being relaxed and as a community we will be able to once again pay tribute to those we love, respect and honour in a more suitable way with all those that wish to attend. We, at Silver Dove Funerals understand and support our families and community. We thank our local chapel for professional assistance and our celebrants for their much needed love and care.
