24.01.2022 We are hiring! Were on the lookout for a casual gardener to add to our team. Job details below: Silverstone Gardening is a professional garden and lawn care business looking for a casual gardener to help our team complete mowing, gardening and reticulation jobs across residential and commercial sites. The role will be a casual position, starting with between 0 and 20 hours per week work, with the possibility of future work between 20 and 40 hours per week during peak seasons.... The role: You will be required to use your gardening skills and experience to provide garden maintenance to hundreds of different locations, both residential and commercial. You will be required to liaise one-on-one with clients, advising clients on helpful services that will improve their grounds and gardens. Key responsibilities will include (but wont be limited to) lawn mowing, pruning and hedging, weed control, fertilising, soil improvements, mulching, irrigation maintenance, planting/transplanting and green waste removal. You will be working in a team and on your own depending on the requirements of each job. Requirements: Essential - Relevant turf management and horticultural experience Minimum of C Class Manual Drivers Licence Must be physically capable of completing strenuous activities (as it is not uncommon for our crews to cover over 20km of walking in a day). Good verbal and written communication skills Able to work well in a team and on their own High work ethic with commitment to quality A Police Clearance completed within the last 3 months Desirable - Experience with zero turn mowers, verti-mowers and other specialised lawn care equipment Pest Technician (Spray) Qualifications Minimum Cert 3 in Horticulture or equivalent. Remuneration: Hourly rate between $25-$30 dependant on experience and qualifications. Superannuation Only suitable applicants will be contacted.
