19.01.2022 Silverstrand recently completed works on the Mackay Ring Road Project in Queensland's north and were please to have worked on this project with CPB Contractors. Our scope involved the construction of 7 out of the 13 bridges, placement of 3,000+m3 of concrete, fixing 300 tonne of reinforcement, construction of abutment protection with 1,900+m3 of concrete and various other civil and concrete works.

18.01.2022 Silverstrand have recently been completing works on the Sideling Creek Dam Upgrade. Works have involved the construction of a new spillway wall, crest reinstatement and downstream plunge pool works.

18.01.2022 Silverstrand are currently undertaking a number of packages of work on the Transmission Gully Motorway Project located in Eastern Porirua, NZ. Works so far have included installation of transverse drainage lines, construction of stream diversions, pit installation, temporary culverts, concrete batter chutes, bulk and detailed earthworks, concrete works and shotcrete lined drains. This project is a new 27 kilometer four-lane motorway scheduled to be open for traffic in 2020.... 18.01.2022 CONTRACT AWARD! We are pleased to announce Silverstrand has recently been awarded a contract by McConnell Dowell to undertake bridge construction as part of stage 3 on the $323.7 million Echuca-Moama Bridge Project. We are currently in the process of mobilising to site for a start in early-August. 17.01.2022 Prior to Christmas Silverstrand participated in the Brisbane Irish SEQLD Drought Run helping to deliver much needed food, water and animal feed to support farmers and the drought stricken community of Stanthorpe. Over $70,000 was raised for this cause along with 202 pallets of drinking water, 49 pallets of animal stock feed, 50 bales of hay, 100,000 litres of drinking water and 300,000 litres of stock water also donated. Thanks to all of our workers who gave up their time to participate and those who made a donation.

17.01.2022 At Silverstrand we place a great deal of focus on quality, environmental and health and safety management. In November 2020 we engaged GRS Certifications to undertake an external audit of our management systems and are happy to announce our successful passing of this audit. As a result, Silverstrand has been re-certified to the following standards until 2023. Quality ISO 9001:2015. Environmental - ISO 14001:2015. Health and Safety ISO 45001:2018.

16.01.2022 Silverstrand have recently completed a number of utility upgrades across Brisbane in a several highly trafficked locations. These works have involved the replacement of pipework, pits and various infrastructure along with the reinstatement of all pavements on both night and day shifts.

14.01.2022 Our team has now successfully poured all 50 foundations for the Moorabool North Wind Farm. Over 23,000m3 of concrete and 2,700 tonne of reo has gone in with an average of 3 foundations per week being completed.
