23.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that I have just updated my Covid-safe plan and I now have a QR code for signing in to the Gallery with your phone. I will continue with paper sign in sheets for those who have trouble with mobile phone connectivity. The Gallery and Garden follow all Covid-19 guidelines and signage is displayed informing visitors of all the requirements. Thanks to all my visitors who are all over this....it makes life for all of us so much easierstay safe everyone and come and say hello

22.01.2022 Silverton is currently experiencing some mobile network issues, including eftpos availability. Telstra has been contacted and it looks like our small cell tower... suffered some damage in the thunderstorm on Friday. Technicians are working on the problem but it is unclear when it may be repaired. If possible, Visitors to Silverton should bring cash for any purchases as we cannot guarantee successful card transactions. Thank you for your patience and understanding. See more

17.01.2022 It's a lovely cool day today, so come for a drive to Silverton and check out Silverton Photography Gallery and Secret Garden. I have been tidying up my vintage camera collection and was a bit surprised at how many I have....it's pretty interesting And then there are all the lovely gift ideas....it's only 4 Fridays to Christmas.....just saying I have lots of goodies, stubbie holders and keyrings, placemats and coasters, coffee mugs, small prints through to large framed works and lots more. There's something for everyone and every budget. I have beautiful mulberry jam....thanks to my overloaded tree this year and also some very cute miniature decorative mushrooms....ideal for that fairy garden you made during the lockdown So....I'm open right now.....

17.01.2022 Good Morning everyone. Just letting you know that the Gallery and Garden are closed today. Just heard that the Silverton Road is CLOSED and people will be fined for using it (other than residents and those working out here), so hold off your visit until tomorrow...hopefully. We have a fair bit of cleaning up to do and we have just had our electricity restored after 20 hours....I suspect a lightening strike was responsible for that....Anyway, stay safe everyone and if you have to drive, drive carefully

16.01.2022 It's so great to see the wildlife returning now we have had rain. I've been out doing a bit of bird watching recently and can't believe the number of budgies in the area. Nesting sites are at a premium with budgies and Galahs quite often sharing trees...it's like high rise bird accommodation lol. Anyway, here are a few shots I took. Hope you enjoy them

12.01.2022 The down side of the wonderful influx of tourists to our beautiful little Village.....Unfortunately this is becoming a real problem in Silverton. Even if you are "self sufficient" you cannot just camp where you want....especially not right next to private homes and businesses. And the creeks are a no brainer folks...

11.01.2022 Hi everyone. I've been a bit flat out lately....visitors, weddings......and making mulberry jam....lots and lots of mulberry jam. Our beautiful tree has had more fruit this year than ever before and it is just beautiful. You can tell who has been to the Garden....they are the ones with purple fingers and lips there has been much mulberry tasting happening. So the jam is now for sale in the Gallery....but it is selling fast so if you want some come out quick Also have lots of lovely gift ideas for Christmas....coffee mugs, key rings, calendars (not many left) as well as photos on canvas and framed prints. Greeting cards, post cards, placemats and coasters....come and check them out open from 10am to 4pm most days.
