24.01.2022 So I was at KFC last night and I ordered my meal and then I was like I'll get an extra large chips. And the guy was like yeah we have small or large. And I was like yeah I'll get an extra large chips and he was like ok yeah we have large only. And then I was like you said you had small and large. And then he was like yeah that's right. So I said I'll have an extra small chips then seeing as though he didn't seem keen on me having the extra large chips. And then he was like I'...ll have to go talk to the manager to see if I can do an extra small chips. So I started thinking this is weird. Am I the first person to have ever asked for extra small chips I am such a pig! So the manager came out and he said we only do small chips and large chips. So then I said well would I need a special order because I already have a large meal. So then he said I didn't realise you already had a large meal, that already includes a large chips. Then he asked what I like an extra large chips on top of my meal. And I was like well I don't really care where they are as long as I get them. Music is so powerful you know that? When I used to play in Orchestras there was an energy and power to them. Thrilling it was. I remember playing Stravinsky's Rite Of Spring ... Such a powerful and unique work (at the time he wrote it of course), but sitting in that orchestra was something again. Amazing. That was bac...k in the clarinet and saxophone days in the late 90s by the way. These days I've been focussing on the pop music that I have always loved.
