15.01.2022 During the Williamstown Seaport Festival, our local yacht clubs will be open to the public and you will be able to access them via a normally hidden waterfront ...path. As part of Discover Sailing Day, on February 29th, you will be able to get out on the water and give sailing a go at The Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and The Hobsons Bay Yacht Club. Over the weekend there will be live entertainment, a classic yacht race on March 1st and plenty of kids activities. Along with some great live music, the Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club are also offering the chance to dine at the club and enjoy a meal prepared by celebrity chef Adrian Richardson of La Luna Bistro (tickets via Eventbrite or the RVMYC office.) The waterfront will really come alive for this event, dont miss this great opportunity.

15.01.2022 Williamstown showed us many different versions of itself this week. There have been warm sunny days and dark stormy days. Its all part of the dynamic character of our wonderful suburb!@evanroystein

15.01.2022 There was no better place to be today to see out the sweltering heat than in the water. It was no wonder then that people flocked to wonderful Williamstown beac...h to cool down. Swipe left to read how Timeout magazine describes Williamstown beach in its article about Five outdoor hotspots for making the most of your Summer in Melbourne. Were very proud that our little beach was up there on the list. @findmeinmelbourne See more

14.01.2022 Another perfect capture by @casbukor of our wonderful suburb and the gorgeous views of the city skyline that we are fortunate enough to enjoy.

13.01.2022 They dont call it the silly season for nothing! Its a crazy time of year, but Williamstown still manages to keep its composure and look calm and serene. Thanks to @melbkerri for another beautiful perspective of our wonderful suburb.

12.01.2022 Commonwealth reserve is always a hive of activity, especially on the weekends. Its a beautiful scenic spot, by the water with views of the city and surrounded ...by lots of nautical elements which give Williamstown it's maritime character. Its no surprise that this beautiful treed spot, central to Williamstown, is a popular hang out for locals and visitors to get together, enjoy a snack from one of the many cafes or restaurants in adjacent Nelson Place, walk out to the pier, watch the seaplane taking off and landing and just enjoy the views and ambience. Commonwealth Reserve is a great place to visit over Summer, with its numerous shady spots and activities. December will see the Christmas Carols come to the Rotunda on December 22nd and January will see the return of Sunset cinema.myelin_do_sant

10.01.2022 A beautiful weekend in Williamstown. Great for being outdoors and getting together to celebrate the festive season the wonderful @casbukor

09.01.2022 The Williamstown Botanic Gardens are a little piece of paradise, nestled by the sea. The perfect place to enjoy a picnic, to stroll the palm lined avenue and to... relax on the manicured lawns, soaking in the serene atmosphere. A few reminders from @hobsonsbaycitycouncil were posted recently about how to ensure the gardens are cared for so that the lovely space is maintained: Firstly, barbecues are not permitted anywhere in the gardens ( there are some available at Hatt Reserve on the Esplanade). Importantly, we also need to ensure that rubbish is always disposed of carefully, being extra vigilant that it doesnt blow into the bay, just across the road. We take great pride in our beautiful Williamstown Botanic Gardens, so please help us to care for them. Swipe left for a couple of different perspectives of the gardens. @ Williamstown Botanic Gardens

02.01.2022 There is no place like the beach to help you unwind from the craziness of Christmas. The heat of the sun, the sound of the waves and the sand between your toes all create a calming effect which will help you leave your stress behind.

01.01.2022 Russell Cassar at his best. Just love this fabulous shot of Williamstown framed by the lights of the Melbourne skyline. We are so lucky to have a photographer w...ith the expertise of Russell Cassar taking such fabulous photos. He has just finished his very successful exhibition - Silent Landscape at The Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre. Russell runs evening photography workshops from aboard Sea Shepherds decommissioned flagship vessel the Steve Irwin, moored at Williamstown.
