20.01.2022 https://youtu.be/p5pfEWoNEbU Mother Nature dished out some heavy snow and rainfall across the Central West last week - creating slippery tracks and deep rivers. On the positive side we found some beautiful little side-tracks and alternate routes - through magical countryside. Thanks to my talented Tail End Charlie for putting this little clip together.

19.01.2022 It's not hard to see why they call this place the Gardens of Stone National Park. Sheer sandstone cliff faces and oddly shaped pagodas dominate as you explore the many 4WD trails. 16.01.2022 We've had a lot of rain across Sydney and the Central West - so I've had to cancel a couple of tours of late. Rest assured - I've been using this extra time wisely and I'm busily planning some amazing Outback Safaris for 2021. In April 2021 I'm running a 10 Day Adventure to Lightning Ridge & Back o'Bourke... And in June/July I've got an amazing 15 Day trip to White Cliffs, Cameron Corner and Mungo National Park. Who knows.....we may get some slippery tracks like we did this year!

15.01.2022 This crossing of the Cox's River should never be underestimated. The river may be shallow, but the river bed is comprised of very deep, soft sand. I made it back to dry ground thanks to my Warn Winch, a shovel, a pair of Maxtrax and some willing participants!!!

09.01.2022 A 15 year old girl has been killed North of Charters Towers. She was hit in the chest with a broken snatch strap while a ute was pulling out a bogged vehicle. O...ur thoughts are with the family. Make sure your children also receive training in recognised 4WD courses and let’s avoid this type of tragedy.

08.01.2022 Well that was interesting, we hit Mungindi on the border with QLD for our lunch stop. With a bit of smooth talking we crossed the bridge into QLD then tackled a fun 4WD trail back towards Collarenebri and have arrived safely in Lightning Ridge. 01.01.2022 I find myself drawn to this track. Ive broken 2 CVs and bent a steering rod getting up this section. Rear diff lock goes in this week - and this track should be a good test I think.
