22.01.2022 Simon Says.....ever wanted to explain to your kids how a computer works, beyond just pressing the on button? Turing Tumble is an ingenious game that does exactly that. Using a series of mechanical switches that move left or right as the marble falls through the Tumble. Each move of the switch creates a logic that solves a problem. Placement of the the switches in a different pattern creates a new logic for another problem. The game is set in the context of a space adventur...e which takes the players through different problems each with a different logic sequence. Turing Tumble is one of those rare toys that actually teaches in a hands on way.......and is really fun. Turing Tumble is available at in store at Simon Says.

21.01.2022 Simon Says......hobby night was another great night. A big month for Ken with Yoda, Chewie and a Tiger all completed. Some Christmas fun, and a little modelling saw the night out. Thanks for your support through the year gentlemen......and Brad :)

19.01.2022 Simon Says.....checkout Shauns great work! Shaun chose a truck which comes to his work place and carefully replicated the Mack using a standard kit and scratch built components. Shaun brought the photos in, and I can say that he certainly has hit the mark with this model...Well done Shaun!

19.01.2022 Simon Says....the powerful Piccolo Daimao, also known as the Demon King, has arrived! The Dragon Ball Piccolo Daimau "King Piccolo" SH Figuarts Action Figure includes an electric rice cooker (how practical!) and expression parts for his "Birthing an Egg" technique (which is weird). Plus, a one-star Dragon Ball! The set includes the figure, 4x right and 2x left optional hands, 3x optional heads, a Dragon Ball (one star), an egg, and an electric rice cooker. Figure measures roughly 20cm tall.

19.01.2022 A huge shout out to the Speed Build Competitors. The results all round were amazing! All modellers gave their best, and in four hours produced some great work. The results were very close with Matt taking the final honours with a quick, well executed build of the Mosquito. Many thanks to Airfix for supporting the event and donating the prize.

09.01.2022 Simon Says.......SPEED BUILD! This Friday (tomorrow) 6.00pm kick off at the shop. Entry fee is $15.00. Mystery kit provided and basic rattle cans. Bring your own tools and other paints. You have 4 hours to build as much of the kit as you can......BUT efforts will be judged on a combination of; progress, quality of assembly and finish.... Judge will be our local modelling Guru (Ken) and his word is final.....as always! Performance enhancing techniques are strongly recommended!

Ishtar is a game in which you play the role of a gardener aiming to transform the dry desert into the Lost Hanging Gardens of Babylon. To accomplish your mission, you will have to plant flowers, which, if you place them well, can help you gather precious gems and activate actions. Whether to buy Trees (which will block the link between two Flower spots, as well as earning you points) or to ...purchase upgrades (such as getting two more points per Tree card at the end of the game), collecting gems will be a crucial part of the game. Get them before your opponents, recruit apprentices, send them to earn points in the copses of flowers you have created, block others and think carefully of the upgrades to purchase if you want to become the best gardener at the end of the game!
