Helps me step up during tougher times! ... ‘It is said that pain builds character, this truth shapes us, choice Is, we either channel it to wreck and ruin, or rise and shine. Cliché, yet true. Life at times can be a real shit show, it can take everything you have, if you let it. If so, the whole point to living is wasted! We must feel the whole gamut to truly get its meaning, its real value. Usually in our darkest hours, when direction abandons us, we discover who and what we are made of.’ Adrian Simon Life......is tidal.
26.04.2022 Roll the dice.. Milk Blood The series. Based on the autobiographical novels ... Milk Blood and The Damage Done. The stage is set! Let’s roll the dice and see what comes up. Feel the rush as destiny fly’s through the air, an outcome decided by gravity and chance. Gamblers never shy on the side of caution, the thrill is too alluring, the world around them tunes out. Tempting a forbidden temptation. Shall we? Let’s risk it, risk everything. Life out of control! Picture this, a four-year-old boy’s father to be executed in a foreign land, his mother catapulted through the MG sports car windscreen. The barn door of life swinging back and forth. Step back a few years. India, Warren employed by the Raj of Bangalore to train race horses, and you guessed it, fix the bets. His girl Jan, wild in spirit, wise beyond her years and never a woman to take shit from any man, was tiring of his boyish ways. Then news came of a baby. Some may look at it as a life trap, she saw it as a course correction, steady the ship, face her family towards true north. If only core personalities could change! Is it all down to chance? A pre-determined pattern? Or are we freewheeling? Problem with hope is it can go either way, like a fifty-fifty bet. It boiled down to this. Warren Swigging on a bottle of Scotch in the Bangkok hotel, the bath tub filling up with water, bags of A class dragon heroin in his hands. Will he rip them open and let the powder swirl down the drain? The future a flip of a coin. The value of a moment doesn’t become apparent until it’s a memory. And how often do we say, if only I’d known!
