I truly believe that our purpose in this world is to share energy and loving information with each other and truly recognise we are all one family. I also believe this is the true main purpose of physical yoga. I think that the two related but, very different, acts of (1) giving love, and (2) receiving love,...Continue reading

11.01.2022 Here is for a Happy 2021: ABOUT LOVE: It is a special time of year that has implications beyond any religion. My love goes out to all of you from the depths of my heart. I truly believe that our purpose in this world is to share energy and loving information with each other and truly recognise we are all one family. I also believe this is the true main purpose of physical yoga. I think that the two related but, very different, acts of (1) giving love, and (2) receiving love..., have to start in your own body. To give your love to yourself in your own body during your exercise and lifestyle activities is probably the most nourishing thing you can do for your own health, well-being and longevity, as well as for the health, wellbeing and longevity of all of humankind. The act of treating yourself lovingly has many benefits: Firstly, you will you really enjoy receiving love from yourself because this will trigger the parasympathetic nervous system to absorb nutrients better, recover from illness more effectively, and encourage the regeneration of your body cells. Secondly, the act of giving love to yourself will teach you the most beautiful art of being able to give love to others. And if we can all practice this more I am sure the world will be a much better place with much less war or violence. Thirdly, perhaps most importantly, once you have received and acknowledged your own love you will then start looking like a person who likes to receive love, and when people see this they will feel more comfortable sharing their love with you. Giving love to others is an innate quality of healthy life. Most people want to share and show love to others but often feel afraid to do it in case they get rejected, or in case people find it offensive, or in case other people might ‘get the wrong idea’ and think you expect something of them. But if you look like someone who likes receiving love, because that is what you practice on yourself everyday, then is it is an invitation to others to show love to you. You actually give other people in your life a gift by showing love to yourself. (Continued in my comments ...)

10.01.2022 Five Dimensional Flow: Our spine, or more correctly our core or our trunk, is able to move in five main directions. These five directions are like five dimensions.... The first dimension involves the ability of the trunk to lengthen shorten, increasing or decreasing the the size of the space between vertebrae, and reducing or increasing the curvature of the spine. The Second dimension involves the ability to bend the trunk forwards or bend it backwards by either lengthening the front or the back of the body. The third dimension involves the possibility of side-bending to right and left by lengthening and shortening opposing sides of the trunk. The fourth dimension involves twisting the spine and the trunk to the left and to the right. The fifth dimension involves the ability of the trunk to expand and contract. When the nose or mouth are open then the change in dimensions often causes a change in the volume of the trunk which causes air to come in or out, essentially invoking the act of breathing. But when you are underwater this five dimensional flow allows you to share good energy and loving information through your entire body by improving bloodflow while maintaining a totally relaxed peaceful feeling on all levels. Mostly I teach and practice this five dimensional flow on land using only natural breathing. It is a very powerful and effective means to health, happiness and longevity.
