14.01.2022 PAY IT FORWARD WINNER Crystal Marshman(middle) with sister Lesley who nominated her (left) and Trainee PT Shauna (right) In honour of Pay it Forward Day Sna...p Fitness Wagga made it their mission to provide a FREE 12 month gym membership and PT sessions for someone in need. As you know, exercise not only helps fight physical and mental illness, but also provides a social network for many people. Crystal was nominated by her sister Lesley as her two sons require around the clock care and always will. Crystal has always put her family before herself so health and fitness has taken a back seat in recent years. I was speaking with Crystal today and it’s absolutely heartbreaking to hear what her family has been through. Here’s what she had to say. We had a disorder of the placenta called twin to twin transfusion syndrome which affects identical twins with one placenta. This meant one of our babies had heart failure and the other renal failure. Both extremely unwell Josh (husband) and I spent a total of 5.5 months in Sydney and Canberra away from our 3 other boys before we could bring them home. Both of our boys have ongoing medical concerns with Isaac requiring oxygen and Jacob affected by cortical vision impairment + cerebral palsy As Club Manager of Snap Fitness I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving and the team at Snap Fitness look forward to having you around and helping you achieve your Health and Fitness Goals.
