25.01.2022 This close... It’s been a tough couple of weeks for me on a personal level. Without going into too much detail, I was trying to be everything for everyone, and I stretched myself way too thin. My own well-being started to be affected and I was so very close to breaking. Thankfully things have turned around this week, and when I woke up yesterday morning I felt like I could breathe again. 23.01.2022 I am officially an SEO geek! It’s been a long, busy few months, but it has 100% been worth all the late nights, hours at my desk and money invested. Kate Toon’s big Recipe for SEO Success course was the weapon that armed me with the knowledge (and confidence) to pivot my business from offering virtual assistance services to being able to now offer more niched services. I not only am able to offer Pinterest marketing, I can now offer you SEO services, and because of Kate...’s course I’m pretty awesome at it! I absolutely recommend this course to any virtual assistant wanting to niche down to offer SEO services, as well as any small business owner who wants to improve their chances of ranking higher in the search engine results, increase traffic to your site, enhance user experience and get more conversions. 22.01.2022 Until now I have quietly supporting BIPOC people around the world off of social media by educating myself, educating my children, supporting local organisations like Sisters Inside Inc and challenging the beliefs of people in my circle of friends and family about their ignorant comments and incorrect use of terminology, but I believe it is time to concrete my support. On Wednesday 3rd June on the @3pmpickup @elaine_crombie educated listeners about being better allies. What... she said really resonated with me. Elaine informed listeners that we can be better allies by listening and not making these issues about ourselves when they come up. Support Indigenous communities by donating money to charities that support the Indigenous people of Australia. Challenge racism in our friendship and family circles and stand by Indigenous people. There’s no need to be louder than Indigenous people or profit from these issues, but every time we say nothing in the face of racism, we are siding with those people. Now is the time! 22.01.2022 After all, Pinterest is a search engine, and the aim is still to increase traffic to your website and improve user experience. Pinterest is a place people come to find and plan purchases of products or services that will improve their lives somehow, their intent is to buy. Good Pinterest SEO helps the algorithm determine the quality of your pin and how it aligns with the interest of pinners. It gets your pin and account in front of the right people. There are lots of ways you can optimise your pins and account but the best place to start is basic keyword research. 20.01.2022 And I seem to be dropping all the balls! I’m going to be honest, I’m struggling..and home schooling hasn’t even started. I worry I’m not going to be able to manage it all, and be everything to everyone. But then I give myself a little shake, and realise we will get through this, of course we will! There was once a time I worked part time and studied full time, while having two small children at home, a hubby work away, and on my Summer break I had open heart surgery! T...his is a breeze I just have to get out of my own head and see the positives in this stage of our life, because that’s all it is, a stage. 17.01.2022 Whilst enjoying a this morning I pondered the last 9 months.. You see today is #HappyVirtualAssistantDay. As I recognise the amazing talent that exists in the wonderful world of VA's, I have realised how far I have come since the day I decided to sign up as a VA. I'm now moving away from the title of virtual assistant towards an exciting and new title that I haven't quite decided on yet. I've spent the last nine months investing lots of time and lots of money to be abl...e to niche down to where I am today in the wonderful world of Pinterest Management and SEO. It's so amazing to see where life takes you , sometimes without any expectation of it. But I'm glad I'm here and I'm excited to see where the next 9 months takes me. Pinterest is part social platform and part search engine, resulting in a beautiful mystical offspring that is a visual search engine. Recently I have again invested in furthering my knowledge by becoming a member of Jennifer's Smart Pin Pro paid community. I have been able to knuckle down on my Pinterest strategy to bring my clients the very best, most up-to-date knowledge in Pinterest marketing. And I will continue to have access to the most up-to-date best practices. I'd love to know what stumps you about Pinterest. What is it about Pinterest that you would like me to help you understand?

16.01.2022 These two are pretty awesome.. But sometimes I forget just how lucky I am. They are both so clever, well-behaved, loving, and resilient. They cope incredibly well with our busy lifestyle, a nurse-entrepreneur mum and FIFO dad. And despite all of the changes this year has thrown at them, all of the exciting things they’ve missed out on, they still carry on and smile day in and day out. 08.01.2022 Introducing the new me! I am so excited to share with you all my new logo and sub-logo, which is complimented by my new branding elements and brand icons. Rachael from @hopscotchbrandingstudio extracted the brief from me and created a brand identity that reflects me perfectly. Rachael listened to me and was very receptive to all feedback I gave her. And in the end she presented me with a brand identity that gave me butterflies and sent chills up my spine. I can’t wait to establish this as my new brand.
