24.01.2022 I took some photo’s of these two lovely Italian ladies. Valerie on the right was celebrating her birthday, let’s just say she’s into the 90’s. Good food and friends might be the secret to longevity. ~ Her friend Antoinette makes amazing lasagne. I was lucky enough to spend lunch with her and the extended family of the Di Luzio’s in Armidale. ~ These two ladies have been lifelong friends, their husbands came to Australia from the same town in Italy and worked hard to make a l...ife. ~ I visited Valerie and she gave me a lettuce from her garden. 12.01.2022 I met Firefighter Peter McCudden at Moree Fire Station this week. Very passionate about his job and loved his motto we all go in and we all come out ~ During the 10 minutes at the station he was called out to a house fire and I took this on his return. The house fore turned out to be some food left on a stove. ~ Some of the call pits are more serious and I could tell that RTA’s are sad sights to come across. ... ~ Given the temperatures in Moree these guys deserve some credit but more importantly for there bravery and service. ~ #firefighter #nswfireandrescue #moree #moreensw #simonscottphoto See more
