24.01.2022 Though this isn't a maintenance page I wanted to share an easy fix for struggling blowers. My Stihl blower is almost new but after a batch of badly mixed fuel it was struggling even after the fuel was replaced. At full throttle it would be extremely sluggish. The culprit was a blocked spark arrester located at the front of the carburetor. It is a small 6/8 bolt head with a wire filter on the body. I just cleaned it with a wire brush until I could see light through it. After... replacing it, it was like new again. Of course there are other reason that are possible. Block fuel lines, air filter, dirty spark plug. But this fixes this particular problem. See more

I answer much quicker than reported.)... *update. Still having the same issues. Trying to work it out with facebook. I have had many people say they can't access the page at all. Which is of great concern.
