25.01.2022 This month we have continued on with our early literacy and numeracy exploration as well as touching on occupations/community helpers. We began the month with H is for hair, hands, head and created a beauty salon with Hair dressers being one of our occupation focuses. Then we have moved on to I is for Ice, Icecream and Igloo. We set up an icream shop and made insects in ice. This week we are exploring J is for Jelly (sugar free), jump and Jam ( home made sugar free). Dancing, alphabet fishing, playdough and feeding our chickens have also been some great spontaneous activities we engaged in. Next week we move on to K is for Kangaroo, koala, kite and kicking balls. As well as looking at jobs like zoo keepers, doctors and firemen.

04.01.2022 Gosh from little eggs big chickens grow.....I can’t believe that our chickens have grown so big in such a short time. It’s been two months since we fostered the chickens in the hatching program and then kept 4 of them. Hopefully soon they will be laying eggs
