We have 2 seats out back that are regularly used to have a chat in the kitchen if someone is having a crapy day . If you need to chat , scream or let off steam - come inside . 15.01.2022 Hello wonderful customers . We’ve Been very busy of late hence the lack of face book posts , which the busy side has been fantastic , so a huge thank you to all who continue to support us. Yes we still have flour and yeast if panic buying starts . During the school holiday period we will be closing at 4 pm , so only the next 2 weeks .... Hope this doesn’t put any of you out . 03.01.2022 Good morning lovely customers. Wow , what a busy week we’ve had and to top it off we had a surprise visit from Mr Jim Wilson , the original Simple Simon . We spent about an hour with Jimmy in the kitchen swapping stories over Jim’s 40+ years in Caringbah and my 30+ years as a Pastry Chef . Jim once again shared his memories and experiences he had in the shop and we discussed in detail the industry and the changes we have seen happen in the baking world , along with the curren...t economic challenges we are facing in today’s world . I told Jim we are trying our best to keep his legacy moving in a forward direction, but high rents , lack of parking and poor infrastructure are making the job all that much harder . Firstly we would like to advise you all we have a very limited supply of creamed honey from Miranda hives , a new supplier whilst our regular suppliers bees have a holiday lol 1/2 kg jag $15.00 It’s delicious ... Secondly, as the virus becomes more unpredictable, we at simple Simon pies are disinfecting our kitchen and making social distancing more strict inside the retail space . As per first outbreak , we encourage those that are elderly or those that look after the vulnerable, we will be selling again flour, eggs, paper towels, yeast and perhaps anything else that was obsolete last time . It’s easier to shop where you limit contact with hoards of people . Stay safe stay calm and eat cake
