19.01.2022 An update from our couriers. Dear Customer, In light of COVID-19, some of our courier partners have taken steps to minimize the spread of the virus. Some couriers will no longer obtain signatures at the time of delivery, instead:... The parcel will be delivered to the doorstep, or at reception The doorbell (or reception bell) will be rung, and the driver will wait for the recipient of the parcel to attend If the delivery location is unattended, the driver will move the parcel to a safe location and leave the parcel If no safe place is available, the parcel will be returned to the depot and delivery will be rescheduled. Please expect some delays on International services due to reduction in flight frequency and capacity. Our domestic delivery times have not been impacted and most courier partners are aiming to continue normal operations during this time. 09.01.2022 Ha! Found in a box in our warehouse, I had a big clear out today in preparation for some new, exciting stock and discovered some books that we don't have on the website anymore. The next 4 birth pools that we sell will include 1 of either of these books as a free gift. www.simplybirth.com.au
09.01.2022 After a shipment I am often left over with a surplus of boxes, I scour local pages and donate them to people looking for moving boxes. My friend posted this the other day, so sweet ! They built a tunnel from their boxes which entertained their gorgeous boy for ages. Who needs expensive toys in these times ??
07.01.2022 Now see, this upsets me !! The Midwives and Doulas that hire out pools to make them more accessible to women deserve better than this . The Midwife who has to deal with this is a very treasured customer of ours and is understandably upset to have a pool returned to her in this state. ... Instead of spending time with her own kids, she is having to try to salvage this pool. Her money, her investment and her time. A liner was provided but quite obviously not used. This is not Ok, hard to believe that someone would think on any level it was ok to return this. I don't know why, but it always shocks me when I see this stuff, somehow I expect better from women.
