24.01.2022 The nail industry often misusing terms and this can lead to confusion. For instance, the term acrylic liquid and powder now applies to two very different type...s of systems, both are two-part, liquid and powder and based on acrylics. The so-called Dip systems, also use acrylic powder and the liquid used is an acrylic liquid monomer called, cyanoacrylate. So, dip systems are ALSO two-part, liquid and powder acrylic nail enhancements. Let me clear up another misconception about these products, they are no more organic than another type of artificial nail coatings and those who sell these as organic are being misleading. Don’t be fooled. They are NOT organic certified, which is what is being suggested. They are organic in the same way that all acrylic monomers are organic. This means they are both have chemical structures that contain carbon. But that is true for almost everything on Earth, except for minerals, water, and gasses. Even cow dung and poisonous mushrooms are organic, they just are not organic certified. That’s a HUGE difference. The most poisonous substances know are organic, but not certified organic. That how some marketers trick the public. Those who are marketing dip systems as organics’ are being deceptive in my view and they are not using the word as most people understand it to mean. Buyer Beware!
