09.05.2022 Our belief in ourselves is vital to how we live our lives. And our thoughts about ourselves play a fundamental role in how we show up. So it should come as no surprise that if you believe in yourself, your capabilities and your worth, you will succeed in what ever you set out to achieve. Believing that you are capable, competent and worthy will lead to you noticing and seeking out more opportunities that will get you to where you want to be. But how do you use the ...power of belief to improve your life? Start to look for the things in your life that you are grateful for, start to praise yourself, thank your body for all its achieved, start a gratitude journal, practice mindfulness and simply start to see the world differently. All of these practises will help you notice and appreciate the good in life. Start to set intentions for how you want to live your life and show up each day, then make small changes to align with these. Things may not go as planned and thats okay, these things happen. Just know that you have a clear intention and you are heading in the right direction. Believe you can, and then just start. Start where you are and go from there. 29.04.2022 Let go of the excess stuff, the things that are in the way. Let go of the expectations of others and listen to you. Let go of the things you can’t control and just enjoy.... Let go of the guilt, shame and regret, no amount of time spent on these will change them. Let go of the idea of what you ‘should be doing, and do what you love, like and enjoy. Let go of the negative thoughts, you are amzing. Let go of the fear and try whatever it is you have been afraid to do. Chances are you will learn and grow. Let go of this idea of waiting for things to be better or perfect, there’s no better time than now. Let go and just be you. Show up for yourself. Listen to your heart. Take a step towards your own amazing life. Do the thing you have been waiting to do. You have one precious life, make it count. 28.03.2022 Do you rest? Like really rest? Or Are you always busy, on the go and constantly doing something?... Rest is fundamental to our health and wellbeing. Real restorative rest is needed to help relieve stress, restore energy and support a healthy mind and body. I encourage you to take some time to rest each day. Even for a short time. The art of resting is like a muscle, the more you engage in rest the easier it is to do. And the better you feel for it. Try any of these if your not sure where to start. Listen to music, your favourite music. This will help to clear you head and lift your mood. Meditate or listen to a mindfulness meditation. Even a short meditation can reduce stress and clear the mind Do a breathing exercise. 4-7-8 method, or simply concentrate on slowing your inhale and exhale. Go outside and walk barefoot in the grass and listen to the sounds of nature around you. Pat you pet - dog, cat or guinea pig. Spending time with a pet reduces stress and calms the mind. Take a bath or have a shower. adding water helps calm the mind and sooth the body. Read a book Sleep is also rest, restorative rest. Getting a good night’s rest every night is vital to your health and wellbeing. These are just a few ideas and I am sure you can come up with others ways to rest that best suit you.
