23.01.2022 Well I blinked and my MAT leave has come to a fast end! Thank you all for your patience in allowing me this time to settle into our life as a family of 4! While I will be poking around the salon next week, just before Christmas, my book overwhelmingly filled before I could even advertise! So appointments are now available from Wednesday 6th January! I will be returning to work Wednesdays and Thursdays with the work hours of 8am-5pm! ... Can’t wait to see you all for a fresh start to a prosperous and exciting 2021!! See more

I run round frazzled to try and get a 4 month old and a 20 month old to simultaneously sleep, I’ll replace a few dummies and try and get as organised as I can.... so that when the work days arrive, your lash prep is ready and waiting! 06.01.2022 Maternity leave is here! Can you believe how fast time has flown! Whilst on maternity leave product sales will still be available however there may be a delay in processing times and deliveries will be a lot more restricted. I will do my best to still maintain our free local delivery promise, however it may not be the following business day like you are all used to, so turn around times may take a day or two longer. There will always be the option to collect your products f...rom the mailbox, that is not a worry at all but with a brand new baby and the world being so crazy at the moment, visitors to the house will not be allowed. THE MAGIC QUESTION.... When will I be back?!?! I have not yet set a date but will keep you all updated on how we adjust to our new found craziness of 2 under 16 months!!! I’m sure i am in for a very chaotic and crazy time, however through the madness they are the most special and SHORT months that I; as a mother, will never get back! So I appreciate your respect and patience through this time! Thank you all for your well wishes and understanding! There has been a lot of shuffling and cancelling in this past 2 weeks.... lesson learnt with overbooking the final couple of weeks for next time!!! 05.01.2022 NEW PAYMENT POLICY It is with regret that i have recently found the need to implement such policies and broadcast it so publicly but as of late I have found myself to be chasing a number of people for payment! Effective immediately Simply Belissima will have the following new policies in place:... - Products will no longer be delivered or put in the post until payment is received OR a copy of the receipt that a bank transfer has been COMPLETE - On completion of services within the salon, clients must complete the transfer AND show their receipt before departure from the salon PLEASE DO NOT - ask if you can just pay me when you next get paid - ask to just transfer when you get home - Ask if you can book a service or take home a product but pay me next week or at the end of the week when you get paid I want you to ask yourself...... Can you walk into a department store or in fact even a shop front and say Thanks, I’ll just fix you up for that when I get paid Would you be impressed if your employer that pays your wage said Thanks for working all week and holding up your part of this agreement, I’ll get your wage to you when I can THIS IS MY INCOME!!!!! I have a family to feed, bills to pay, stock levels to keep up with and yes it might only be small amount but if I’m chasing several people at once, this can easily add up to quite a substantial amount!! It is an abuse of the flexibility of my small business and it has started to become a burden!!! So this has resulted in the minority ruining it for the majority and moving forward there will be an absolute 0 tolerance for it. I thank you all for your understanding! - Kim xx

04.01.2022 Whilst on Maternity leave I clicked over 10 years in the Beauty Industry! What a journey it’s been! As a tender 15-year old, I finished my school certificate on the Friday and started my apprenticeship on the Monday and never not once did I look back! I’ve worked for and with some amazing people, built up my own little business and made some wonderful lifelong clients who have become friends in the process! What a journey! Bring on the next 10.. or so!!
