18.01.2022 Please have a read of the post below & click the link to donate what you can After watching my stories this morning a gorgeous friend reached out with an idea to fundraise for Motor Neuron Disease. Seeing they had to cancel their biggest Walk to D-feet MND this year... I have decided to set up a go fund me account for anyone who wants to be apart iso style. $30 a family Or $10 each individual I know times are tough for so many people and I understand not everyone can BUT if you can we would love to have you. My goal is to set a date possibly Sunday 31st of May or any day during May and do a walk for MND around your block or whatever you would like to do. Dress up, have fun with it, and walk for the people who can't. Take photos and share on social media. Don't forget to #themamamovement and #mndsa so we can share your photos and efforts on the socials. You could even ask the ones you love to "sponsor" you or ask them to be apart of the movement. With funds being drastically cut and fundraisers cancelled it truly upsets me to know the people suffering may not get the full care they need. Did you know each day in Australia two people are diagnosed with MND and two people also die from it? They can completely lose all body muscle functions and being able to do what they once did for themselves becomes almost impossible for them to do. If even two families join the fundraiser raising $60, that will provide either a shower chair or toilet surrounded with support. $400 can provide a manual standard wheelchair $500 can provide a carer alert kit & $1000 can provide an electric armchair lift recliner.
