24.01.2022 At this time it is very important we stay cautious but also continue to support one another and local businesses within our community. This past week has been very confronting for a lot of us including myself and the SD team with all our upcoming events being postponed to a later date. We thank you for postponing rather than cancelling We are now offering take home meals! Made fresh and delivered to your front door. We will be taking orders from Monday 23/03 with service ...starting on Wednesday 25/03 so you can continue to enjoy our delicious food! Keep an eye out for our menus posted to Instagram and Facebook. We will still be catering small events, providing it is safe to do so and following all health and hygiene precautions as always! We love, love, love the Hummus with Mujadara and Fattoush Salad ~ thats our favourite combo and all vegan too (winning!) We have slow roasted lamb on the menu too for the meat eaters which pairs beautifully with the Mujadara and Fattoush as well and finish off your meal with the delicious... 20.01.2022 NEW MENU Changing things up a bit this week! We still have some of your favourites but have also included some fresh, nutrient rich, small salad boxes! The salad boxes serve 2 people as a meal. You can also add some of your own meat, fish or chicken if you feel like it! Get your orders in by Monday lunch time so we can start our prep and have your meals delivered to your door on Wednesday or Friday! ... After such a full on week weve decided to take a bit of a rest and only have meals available for delivery over the weekend (Friday-Sunday). 03.01.2022 ASIAN CHILLI SALMON RECIPE during this stay home period, I feel like all Im doing is spending my days in the kitchen cooking, im ACTUALLY eating a proper breakfast, lunch and dinner which, Im loving i have decided to jazz things up a little bit with my everyday meals and share them on Instagram with all our followers. easy meals that are quick and delicious, whilst being nutritious, so here goes our recipe for asian chilli salmon ~ our family favourite ... ingredients: - 2 fillets of salmon - 2 cloves of garlic - 1 small red onion - 2 pieces of ginger - juice of 1 lime - 1 or 2 whole chillies (depends how hot you like it) - 1/2 teaspoon chinese five spice - 2 tablespoons soy sauce - olive oil to drizzle method: 1. heat oven, fan forced, 180 degrees 2. set salmon aside. in a blender wizz all other ingredients together until it forms a lumpy paste 3. pour paste into baking dish and place salmon fillets on the top ~ drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of five spice 4. place in oven for 12-18 minutes, depending how you like your fish cooked annnnnnd VOILA! i like to serve with some brown rice and salad but green asian veg also goes great. a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds and spring onion if youre feeling fancy and dinner is done in 25 mins, max! so easy and delicious. I hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family does. when you try this recipe post it and tag us...if we get an invite for dinner that night, we wouldnt be mad! stay safe and healthy
