13.01.2022 PROGRESS over perfection When it comes to my drawings, You can never have enough details!!! I get obsessive about even the 0.0000001 millimetre. Making sure to have windows and brickwork to standard sizes to save cost for clients in the build. My work always takes priority over the business side of things (administration, graphic design, socials, website) and this is we’re progress is better than having things perfect I’m only a one women business along with workin...g fulltime for a builder. 05.01.2022 Every small act of kindness helps to rebuild what was lost I couldn’t sleep last night and have been praying about how I could help. Even though I am a small business, who relies on funds. Felt God place it on my heart to offer my services for free to 1 family who has lost their home to help them rebuild. ... I have a client in Buxton who I’m just waiting on to hear if their home is ok as I’m offering this package to them first and then it will be open to the public! I didn't want to share this act of kindness publicly but Hopefully, this small act will inspire other building services to help where they can. If we each helped one person or family we can rebuild what was lost. 04.01.2022 Seamless Process Package When I first started my business I only wanted to do the drawing side but after I spoke with Sarah from @birdblackdesign and Kate my spectacular copyright @ohmywordaus they both said wouldn’t clients want you to take care of everything with getting approvals so they don’t have to stress about the processes So the Seamless Process Package was birthed which is an optional add on to my services. All my clients have added it as soon as I offere...d it ! I’m still figuring it out as it’s new to me but learning a long the way. From the moment I get a new client I know exactly what documents are needed so no time is wasted. Example before drafting can start the following will be needed (depending on ur project) Section 10.2 (2) (5) or know as a 149 Section 88b if there are easements on the property Contour Survey Geo Tech Report Make sure you speak with your designer before hand to specify critical info is noted on your contour survey so it saves you time and money! At every step What should you allow for your project to get approvals? 01.01.2022 HOPE and KINDNESS All you need to do is turn on ur TV or go to coles/ woollies and you're bombarded by fear and dismay because what was once so easy to get (essential items) toilet paper eggs, pasta and more now you need to have luck on your side or potentially parkour skills. What are things that money can’t buy that gives you peace and hope? ... Only my close friends/ family know how much I lost 7 years ago! I accepted that I might never have those things back. I never imagined how God would rebuild my life from aches! So my hope and faith is in Jesus regardless of what happens Philippians 4:11-13 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. See more
