Cross fibre grooming is excellent for ...keeping the fascia conditioned, helping to smooth sticky fascia and break down adhesions. It stimulates circulation, increases relaxation and promotes release. Using the flat of your hands or your horse’s favourite brush or rubber curry comb, groom the hair at right angles to the direction of growth which is usually also at right angles to the underlying muscles. 08.01.2022 FEEDBACK FRIDAY I tried Simply Equine’s new product Xpell-It and am very pleased with the results! When bringing a thoroughbred mare back in to work after having a couple of foals she had a persistent cough when being worked. I put her on a course of Xpell-It, 50ml twice per day for 10 days, the cough was gone after 2 days and she is still cough free. I fed the Xpell-it in her feed and she readily accepted it every time. This product is highly palatable, not one of our horses turned their nose up at it. I recommend this exciting new product to anyone that has a horse with any kind of respiratory issue. 07.01.2022 Feedback Friday Llangollen Porsche who needs no introduction to anyone in the showing world has suffered with severe allergies and respiratory airway issues for a few years. Porsche has in the past seen results to help with his breathing issues through salt therapy. Unfortunately we only had 3 sessions of salt therapy and then could have no more due to a technical failure of the manufacturing of the float. A year on and Porsche’s breathing had become that laboured that I res...orted to using an asthma puffer on him. I then found another salt therapy treatment facility for him early of this year. Even though he was having weekly sessions to try and clear his airways, which was yes helping, but he was still quite laboured in breathing even only walking to and from his paddock. There was no way we could put him into full time work the way he was. Kylie at Simply Equine suggested trying a product called Xpell-It. What did we have to lose Absolutely nothing. I started Porsche on the dose advised and within three days saw a noticeable difference. We still continued the salt therapy, and combined with this absolutely wonderful product we have seen amazing results.
