05.01.2022 Have a up date from nsw health DIGITAL CHECK-IN MANDATORY FROM 23 NOVEMBER 2020 The next change to the Public Health Order will see hair, beauty and tattoo businesses legally required to check in customers digitally, for example with a QR code.... Digital registrations are faster and more concise than keeping paper records, and allows for faster contacting tracing during the current pandemic. Faster contact tracing means responders are better able to break the cycle of the transmission of COVID-19 throughout the community and keep more businesses open. A free QR code for customer check-in is available for businesses that register as COVID Safe at NSW Health or businesses may choose to find their own QR code check-in service. The use of a QR code is preferred but any electronic records keeping system can be used. If your customers do not own a smart phone their details may be eletronically recorded by the business premises. In the case of a power outage details can be collected and entered electronically as the power returns.
