22.01.2022 We took the kids to MONA in Hobart. While walking down a set of stairs, my 10 year old shouted, stop mom! I need to photograph these leading lines. Aren’t they so cool? That’s not something most 10 year olds notice. Normally at art museums they are wining to go home or eat. Teach our children how to truly see the world is my motto! That is why my classes are so much more than just how to use the camera in their phone. It’s how to see the beauty around them no matter where... they are! Next class in Kew in January 19. See the comments or pm me for the details! @kewjunctionau

21.01.2022 I planned on writing you all a Christmas email with exciting news for 2021. However, after a stay at home 2020... Simply Gray had her busiest December ever. Which was fabulous. Plus the Tham family is working on some other surprises to come. So my writing time planned did not go as planned. So the announcements will have to wait for January. Good things are worth the wait! Until then my friends. Enjoy this time. May it fill you with peace and joy and inspiration. This is... what we all need!! to you all! Gray

19.01.2022 Happy 2021! We made it and I have these 2 beautiful sisters to help me start the year. With these 2 it’s got to be a good year.

18.01.2022 It’s always nice to find a matching boat . I have to thank my husband @jyctham for this photo in #hobart harbour. We had a beautiful date night. We love #travelingwithkids and now it is even more awesome when the kids are old enough to give us a date night. I think they enjoyed the freedom as much as we did! Hoping they will always love exploring the world with us!

14.01.2022 Sean and I rose early to catch the sunrise at Bay of Fires. It was a bit cloudy, but divine! Best of all we did it together! Thank you @thamos_420 for being my photo buddy today and helping your momma climb the rocks to get some amazing views. I couldn’t have done it without you. Photo Credit @thamos_420 Thank you @kimarmistead for the tripod. It’s traveled the world .

13.01.2022 Look who wanted a portrait today. He was waiting for me outside my front door this morning. So who was I to not take his photograph

10.01.2022 Today we head home. Thank you Tasmania for a beautiful, restful, inspirational 2 weeks. Nature renews the soul! Till next time #Tasmania. You’re awesome! Photo credit @thamos_420

08.01.2022 We made it #cradlemountain ... and I’m glad I have a beanie, a wool sweater, a macpac & my 70-200mm lens I’ve been carrying all trip but haven’t used. I just captured a cute wallaby outside our cabin door .

07.01.2022 Simply Gray’s feed is quiet as I’m out with the family for the first time in a year exploring Tasmania. This photograph is part of my personal yearly PAD project, when I document my family’s life with a photograph a day during the month of January. This is my 12th year running this project. From my notes: January 6, 2021 Never stop dancing sweetness. If music is in your heart keep those feet moving! ... As I played with my camera you danced in the waves. Both our hearts sang as my shutter button clicked. Sean asked me if I got the image I wanted. I said, not the one I went for, but I may have gotten something even better. I may not be the most technically correct photographer... but I trust when I follow my heart magic will happen. That is my advice for my children.
