23.01.2022 OCTOBER UPDATE In our meeting on Saturday with the sports centre manager who also works with the Clarence valley council, we have decided it’s in the best Interest of our stall holders and public to cancel October and work towards December. This decision doesn’t come lightly! ... There have been confirmed Covid cases in the Northern Rivers and with everything that’s happening in Victoria and Sydney it’s a very uncertain times over the next couple of months. We would hate to go forward with the October market and then have to cancel a few weeks out. This decision was made by a number of people and a number reasons. We would hate to do the right thing, follow all the rules and regulations and have one person not comply and ruin it for everyone. Our next market which is definitely going ahead at this stage is the 19th December. We have started working on a changed floor plan and advertising for this market. Our stall holders will be getting an email this week with what needs to be done for December and the changes we have to put forward. It’s been a while Yamba and all we can say is we can’t wait to see everyone and support this beautiful community. Big love YHM team x

13.01.2022 MARKET UPDATE!!! I have been in contact with the Venue manager this week who had a meeting with the Clarence Valley Council early this week. We are keen to start our market up ASAP and I am sure everyone else is the same. ... We are waiting on further news from the NSW government to see if we can go ahead for October. As our venue is located inside our market is difficult to navigate around the 100 person limit. My hands are still tied for the moment. There is still a lot of work to do and trying to make sure we are in code with COVID-19 safety guidelines. I can’t thank you all enough for your patience.
