04.01.2022 So they (the superstitious) say things come in 3... well we’ve had ours then.. last night 1) Nina was sick all over our rug which is hanging over the fence outside as it had an interesting collection of food arg labradors 2) when I let the dogs out before bed I noticed a long snake just off our verandah and lulu our cat wanting to hunt it. My city slicker husband comes at my scream and says oh it’s just a carpet snake, went to get a broom and tried to chase it away.. w...hat’s happened to this man after only just over a year on the farm lol??? Then 3) early this morning we hear this explosion of glass. I thought lulu had knocked over something in protest of being locked inside overnight. We could not find anything out of place till Angel (my husband) called me, and found that a bird had flown into the walk in wardrobe window and must have died on impact, poor thing . actually our aircon in the lounge is leaking so we’re on number 4.. ahh country living.. never a dull moment See more
