24.01.2022 Simply Massage only has a few appointments left before Christmas. Monday the 21st 2pm, Tuesday the 22nd 2pm and 4.15pm and Wednesday 12.45. This office will close on Thursday the 24th December and re open on Tuesday the 29th. Normal hours will apply Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday the 31st I will be closing at 2pm and resume normal hours on Monday the 4th January.

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, At this stage Simply Massage is still closed until restrictions are eased. So frustrating. Hopefully we will have good news soon.

21.01.2022 Thank you so much everyone for your support. I was contacted by Jackson Taylor and he is going to advocate for the industry. Anyone who wrote to him the letter will receive a reply. I explained my concerns and totally understand the governments corcerns. Now we just have to wait and see. Hopefully the next round of restrictions will see an easing.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, After today's announcements I am hoping to return to my Bayswater North practice in the next few days. Just need to wait for confirmation from the health department. I will keep you informed. Otherwise until further notice I will be in Ringwood East.

19.01.2022 Just a quick update appointments available at Ringwood East. All health fund claims will be claimable with a receipt. It may just take a few weeks. No matter when your consultation is the practice address is recognized by all funds from the 8th November 2020 with the exception of Medibank private which will be from the 16th November. I have confirmation of this in writing Eftpos facilities available... My portable table has just had a full service and check. The premise is a self contained unit seperate to the house. Same ambience as my practice in Bayswater North which I hope to be returning to soon. It would be great to see all my existing clients or happy for new clients as long as they are referrals from an existing client. So please ring or message if you would like to come. 16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Simply Massage will be reopening on Wednesday the 28th. Due to high demand I am now taking bookings from Monday the 9th November. Look forward to returning to work and seeing you all soon.

16.01.2022 After receiving a notification from Massage and Myotherapy, it is still uncertain as to when remedial massage will recommence. This is subject to clarification from the health department. 16.01.2022 In a meeting with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that the Association attended today, the DHHS verbally confirmed that remedial massage and ...myotherapy will be allowed to reopen for one-on-one treatments when metropolitan Melbourne enters the Third Step of its Roadmap to Recovery. In addition, the DHHS has released a document of Industry Restart Guidelines that the Association recommends Victorian members review. 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I am pleased to announce Simply Massage will be recommencing practice as of the 9th November. Unfortunately I will not be operating out of my Bayswater North address until I receive notification from the massage association that home based business rules have changed. Hopefully in 2 weeks. I will be working from Ringwood East. At the moment I will only be seeing my existing clients unless you are referred by someone already known to me. 14.01.2022 The Association is seeking clarity on today’s easing of restriction announcement. Massage therapy, remedial massage and myotherapy has not been directly quoted. Massage & Myotherapy Australia will release more information as soon as possible.

12.01.2022 Massage and Myotherapy received notification from the health department today that remdial massage will not recommence until step 3 the 26th October. I think this will depend on numbers. The association is advocating on our behalf to be able to treat patients so we will just have to wait and see what happens.I will keep you all updated. Fortunately in Knox and Maroondah our cases are now very low. Stay safe.

11.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I need your help. Both myself and many other home based business will suffer if we can't change these restrictions. As of 30/10/20 After only being able to open on Wednesday we are now forced to close again. The new restrictions are a seperate entrance no entry on to the acual premises of the house and no shared facilities in the toilet or bathroom. For masseurs this makes it illegal to practice at home as we cannot meet clinical or covid compliance. I am sure th...ere are also people in other industries affected by this. At the moment according to Business Victoria there is no date when this will change. I would really appreciate if you could write to my local MP Jackson Taylor to support all of us. 07.01.2022 After the government announcement yesterday according to the Massage Association the directives are unchanged. We will be opening in Step 3. Hopefully this is not too far away. I will be contacting people soon once we have an idea of how numbers are going. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

07.01.2022 Just a quick update. At this stage I am not sure whether I will be able to open yet. I am not a permitted allied health worker. We are not classed as beauty either so will need to wait for confirmation from the massage association when we can resume work. Look forward to seeing you all and keep up the good work.

06.01.2022 Just a quick update regarding wearing of masks. DHHS has advised us that it is compulsory for the therapist to wear a mask at all times. As it is strongly recommended for clients to wear one also I will be asking clients to wear a mask at all times as we cannot social distance. Furthermore as an additional safety measure I have introduced the QR code system into the practice for those who wish to register. All other safety measures still apply.
