I just know in the end, how it will benefit the entire team, Simply Stems as a Business, and of course, me. My saving grace though? Beyonce' Yep. B's given me a LOT of business encouragement over the years. So when I'm impatient. I remember. She dedicated 8 months of rehearsing - for a two hour perf...ormance ... 07.01.2022 Very Rare Find ... me in front of the camera! Why have I had a change of heart now? Well. I'm having a bit of a milestone birthday this coming week and it feels equally shocking and liberating, if I'm honest. Shocking because my son is a bit of a matter of fact kind of guy and has openly let me know - I'm nearing my half way marker of average life expectancy. Yep - mid life crisis age! [But also] Liberating because, well, the same as abo...ve actually. It's making me look at things a little differently. And live a little differently. And appreciate that matter of factness, of my little person, a whole lot more. See more

We train on the job the 'Simply-way' so florist experience isn't a necessity. But a willingness to learn and grow is (so is a manual licence). We are always looking for the right personality fit so the hours are negotiable. 05.01.2022 This week I was spoiled beyond my wildest dreams and although that spoiling was in very amazing [tangible] things. By many amazing humans, that I love. The thing that has me all teary. Is the thought and effort and the time they gifted to me. People, who I already loved and cherished, put an enormous effort into making my 'milestone' birthday incredibly special. I am dazed and feeling love and gratitude. My gosh, Im feeling so many emotions actually! ... More than I even knew was possible [and thats a LOT). The thing is. I believe wholly and souly in the power of thoughtfulness. It's kindness's close cousin. And together, I believe they can change the world. They are two of the 'things' that I want to be, right to my core. On top of my 'spoiling', something else wonderful happened these past few days. It was the realisation that 'my people' are those two things innately. Right to their core. So I'm hoping that old saying 'You are what you hang around' rings true.
