24.01.2022 The 2020 Sims & Finn Chiropractic Inaugural Staff Anzac Biscuit Baking Competition Winner: Dr Leah Collard! This year we held our first Anzac biscuit baking competition. Dr Paul was the head judge and assessed each entry very carefully - with a cup of tea of course.... After much deliberation, and a few re-assessments with second, third & fourth tastings, it was determined that Dr Leah was the standout winner If you would like Dr Leah's prestigious and award winning recipe, check your email inbox as it will be included in our next email newsletter

22.01.2022 Ever wondered what our chiropractors get up to when they're not adjusting? Here is Dr Paul preparing a paddock for some new lambs due in spring We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend

22.01.2022 Dr Paul has been out of the practice for most of this week. On Monday, Paul had the sniffles. As per our COVID response policy, Paul went and got tested. The safety of our patients, staff and families is our #1 priority. We suspected that it may have been a bout of hayfever as he has been spending most of this isolation period tending to his garden and we were right! His test results came back NEGATIVE and will be back in practice this afternoon. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and have a lovely weekend!

20.01.2022 Drs Paul & Connor spent the afternoon creating a series of perspex screens for our front desk. At Sims & Finn we are keen to take a proactive approach to keep our patients, staff and greater community healthy and thriving. If you are a small business who would like the designs for our front desk screens, please inbox us and we will send you the design we created.... Thankfully Dr Connor was present to supervise Dr Paul when using the power tools (Photos of the completed product to come tomorrow)

16.01.2022 Happy Birthday Dr Paul! We had some wonderful patients bring in cakes for his special day! It was a bit hard to blow out the candles with the mask on but these delicious cakes have certainly been enjoyed nevertheless!

16.01.2022 -WE ARE STILL OPEN- We have now entered into Stage 4 Restrictions, however as chiropractors, we are still able to remain open. As this is part of your health care, you may travel to see us - even if this is more than 5km from your home. ... As per restrictions, we still ask that you wear a mask when you visit us. We are continuing our strict hygiene procedures - and know that we are still smiling under our masks!

16.01.2022 EDIT: LATEST UPDATE Due to recent changes in response to COVID-19, chiropractors can only consult with patients who's care is COMPLETELY NECESSARY. Because of this, we are limiting appointments to patients who are in pain,or require appointments to prevent their health from significantly deteriorating. ... Our chiropractors will be personally calling all scheduled patients for the next 6 weeks to determine whether your appointment is necessary. Over the past few days we have been trying to keep up with the ever-changing information regarding what business’ can remain open during Stage 4 restrictions. An updated statement from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) states that all public and private health services are permitted: All AHPRA registered health workers - and in addition, social work, speech pathology, dietetics and any other health worker required to fulfil a care plan endorsed by NDIS, TAC, Workcover or DVA - to provide services that prevent a significant change/deterioration in functional independence In short, this means that if your chiropractic care is necessary for you, you may continue to attend your appointments through Stage 4 restrictions. Please remember that masks are absolutely necessary for your appointment and you will continue to have your temperature checked upon arrival. Thank you for your patience and generosity through these strange and difficult times.
