23.01.2022 V A L U E F O R M O N E Y We’ve seen this pop up in a few different locations recently and it’s great to see the profession doing some hard core research to PROVE what we keep banging on about. The reality is that for every dollar spent on architectural fees, there is a larger increase in capital growth on the property than works done by non-architects.... It should be obvious to all, that if you pay reasonable fees, your designer will be able to take the time to consider the myriad of factors and influences that exist on a residential project and how to best resolve those in a manner that is practical, beautiful and contextual, then of course you’ll reap dividends. The job will work better, be more beautiful, last longer and fit better. Don’t waste your time with an architect or building designer that isn’t doing this - it will cost you in the long run.
