We've secured the last few bottles of the Sinapius 2018 Close Planted Pinot Noir made by the late Va...ughn Dell (rated 98 points by the Halliday Wine Companion). This is alongside two other exceptional wines from five-star rated wineries; Delamere's 2019 Pinot Noir and Holm Oak's 2018 Wizard Pinot Noir. 12.01.2022 There is a lot to talk about this afternoon on ABC Hobart & ABC Northern Tasmania with Helen Shield after 14:30. The @langtonswine auction for the daughters of... the late Vaughn Dell of @sinapius ends this weekend. Donations of wine flooded in from all over Australia including James Halliday, to support the fund of this much deserving wine family, so get bidding! The auction closes Sunday 26th July 7pm https://tinyurl.com/y3meqfma Salted caramel may be old news but what if you livened up your salt? Donna Hay chocolate and salted caramel has black salt on it but A pinch of could put a fresh twist on things with chilli and lime, pinot noir, raspberry and jalapeno or maybe blood orange and cardamom. Recipe https://www.sbs.com.au//chocolate-fudge-and-salted-caramel Finally, we still have no tourists visiting so which part of Tasmania are you going to be claiming this weekend?

07.01.2022 "There would have been so many other, easier, ways to have gone about establishing our vineyard but we never took the easy road. With a focus always on producin...g wine of the highest quality, we really took things to the next level and chose to plant vines at three to four times the planting density of most Australian vineyards." It was a dream Linda Morice and her husband Vaughn Dell worked tirelessly to achieve. That dream was cut short for Vaughn when he tragically passed away earlier this year. As Linda embarks on the next chapter, she reflects on what the Sinapius brand means, and why it's so important to her. Read more here: http://bit.ly/cdc-sinapius Photo by @adam.gibson.photo
