24.01.2022 The Roadtrip continues! Leaving Vic 6 weeks ago heading for Byron Bay, little did we realise we would end up with an opportunity of a lifetime A 3 week trip turning into 3 months!... Once remote learning was confirmed we decided to stay away for lockdown 2.0 in Vic, both working remotely it made sense to grab the chance and show our kids some of Australia. So we entered Queensland a few weeks ago and the adventure carries on A time we may never get again and making memories to last a lifetime

24.01.2022 Hump day with the Humpback dolphins What a great experience we had this morning Barnacles Cafe & Dolphin Feeding in Tin Can Bay Run by volunteers you get a chance to learn about the dolphins that have been coming to the shoreline for a feed since the 50s and then a chance to feed them. Great fun for the kids, our dolphin was Harmony, such a cutie! Affordable family fun, $10pp to view and feed, open daily. Get there for 6.45am as feeding tickets are limited.

23.01.2022 This has been our Winter Roadtrip After leaving Vic weeks ago we have travelled up the East coast stopping at Lake Conjola Soldiers Point South West Rocks... Black Rocks Byron Bay Gold Coast Sunshine Coast, currently in Bli Bli Pics in reverse starting with last nights sunset Our own backyard has so much to offer, we have a gorgeous coastline, wildlife, beautiful towns and great attractions

21.01.2022 A very real insight to my work life over the last 6 months and what's to come. I'm still chasing refunds from airlines for some clients, a frustrating long wait but am hopeful for them to be back asap and have a clean slate soon. Then lets hope the state borders open up, so you can all get out and see some amazing places on our big brown land ... It's been very strange not talking about travel and sharing my usual deals/ inspo for you all. 20.01.2022 So our furthest destination on our roadtrip was 1770 where we spend a great week Such a gorgeous place for Kayaking, fishing,bush walking, swimming, bike riding and exploring. It was one of our favourites and had such beautiful sunsets!

08.01.2022 I couldn't let this milestone go past without reflecting back, my lil business is 10 Years old this week I've organised some pretty amazing trips over this time for some wonderful people, been lucky to have been offered some great work trips from Philippines to Japan to Maui to India and all our family holidays in between, from Ireland to Fiji, too many adventures to mention (2 lucky kids) Had my biggest achievement, 2 children within my business and navigated m...otherhood and work, organised many group trips,the last being my biggest thankfully got back just before covid hit of 125 people and started up MumScapes weekends and getaways over 2 years ago to give mums a chance to Rest, Connect & Recharge. The last 10 years has had plenty of bumps in the road but i could never have expected the biggest to be the last few months, so with tears in my eyes thank you for your support, encouragement, loyalty and friendship lucky to have amazing clients, colleagues, friends and family I'm not going anywhere i with all my heart what i do, travel is not gone just postponed! While it is if you can get out into your own backyard and see a bit of Australia don't hesitate! I can't wait to be back planning all your amazing adventures again soon

07.01.2022 A lil different doing a Whale Cruise in Qld winter when it's 24c We took an afternoon cruise with Whalesong Cruises Hervey Bay on friday and we all loved it! Our 1st Whale Cruise saw heaps of whales and a few dolphins ... A 1/2 day morning or afternoon cruise is perfect with kids it's plenty of time to take it all in, then enjoy a light dinner onboard before returning to shore. We where all mesmorised by these gorgeous creatures and highly recommend a Whale Cruise in Qld

03.01.2022 How true This year sure has been a testing time for many in small business and as you all know Travel has taken the biggest hit! I cancelled my last clients booking for the year yesterday, now to finalise my last refunds hopefully over the coming weeks. Thanks to my clients for your patience while we are at the mercy of airlines with so many refunds to process and credits to finalise ...
