25.01.2022 A yummy chocolate mud cake filled with chocolate ganache was enjoyed by Oliver and his family on the occasion of his christening last month <3
25.01.2022 Every cake that is made is lovingly put together with days or weeks of preparation, agonizing over every minute detail, even though no-one else will probably notice. This is even more so when it is a wedding cake for a family member. My son and new daughter-in-law own a house in Milang that has an old blacksmith's shed, and when they decided to hold their wedding reception in their garden, the cake needed to reflect this history. The four tier mud cake was displayed in an old... wood stacker with a board made out of recycled timber (made by hubby). The bottom tier featured a faux tree trunk effect (yes it was cake, no it wasn't an actual piece of tree!!!) with the next tier painted rose gold, and the top two tiers finished in white chocolate ganache The flowers matched the bride and bridesmaids bouquets, including king protea, sea holly, blue gum and peppercorn See more

19.01.2022 Happy Valentine's Day <3
17.01.2022 Spent the day with friends Natasha Thorpe from Natasha's Cupcakes and Kate Lisa from Vanilla Rose Cakery testing donut recipes. Of course we had to try some from each batch, they were very yummy!!!
13.01.2022 Well another year has gone by, how quickly time flies. Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope that your year has been filled with love and joy and best wishes for a safe and fun filled new year <3
13.01.2022 Helping to decorate my son's wedding was a labor of love. It was a chance to break out the good china, and channel my inner craft goddess!!! I love to create and style all the little things that go along with a party. I am by no means an expert in flower arranging, but loved working with some beautiful flowers to create some rustic arrangements. Confetti cones and seating tags at the ceremony were also on my list, along with arranging the tea, coffee & drinks station. Copper wire fairy lights in jars added a festive touch set among the flowers It was a big effort by everyone, and it all came together to create a wonderful setting for a joyous occasion <3
11.01.2022 It is always an honor to be asked to create a cake for a special occasion, even more so when it is family. Yesterday Jamie and Heidi celebrated their marriage with a ceremony at the beach, and their love of the beach was reflected in their cake, in the shape of a sand castle. Cupcakes of chocolate mud with caramel centre and white chocolate mud with a hint of lemon with a filling of raspberry curd were shared with their guests <3
10.01.2022 On Saturday we travelled to Clare to attend our niece's wedding at the beautiful Bungaree Station. It was a long drive travelling with the cake, but we all made it safely. Luckily it was only an overnight stay as the cake took up all the boot space, our one bag was relegated to the back seat The cake was a chocolate mud filled with chocolate ganache and covered with white chcocolate ganache, featuring a topper that included Phoebe and Ian's beloved dog Bonnie and a large bunch of handmade sugar flowers. What a wonderful weekend spent with family and friends <3
05.01.2022 Amy and Jason celebrated a "surprise" wedding yesterday. Congratulations to you both <3
