24.01.2022 Surprise coming on Monday!

24.01.2022 How are you all going? Im not sure about you but this whole bloody lockdown thing is really annoying. I know, I get it, trust me its been a challenge for me to. I just wanted to share some tips, Ive been doing to help keep sane during these times. I hope they help. Im no doctor and Im only sharing what supports me so I hope you find them useful. 1) Make sure you get some sunshine at least 20 mins a day. 2) Exercise - I have been going bike riding or walking at least ev...ery second day, I find when I train I emotionally and mentally feel better. Dont stay in doors all day every day. 3) When I feel down I call a friend and share my experience, dont be afraid to be vulnerable and tell some one if you feel like crap. A good friend will support you. I am always here if you need me, not just in lessons but also as a friend. 4) Eat well! Dont get me wrong, I love to have some chocolate or cheat meal hear and there but fill your body with healthy fresh fruits and veggies, try avoid packet foods and processed foods they are no good for you and your well being. 5) Laugh a little 6) Drink nice relaxing teas, find your joy in the small stuff! 7) Sing you favourite song just for the hell of it! Dont worry about sounding good or technical ability, just sing for the love of singing! 8) Take this on, I have started to do this and it has began to fill my heart - one simple act of kindness, you will be amazed by the ripple effect it has. Yesterday I started weeding a community garden and two days later a professional Gardner out of the blue came a weeded they whole garden and it looks beautiful today! Today I bought a little girl whose dad was selling garbage bags to support their family on the street a colouring in book, pencils and sharpener her eyes lit up when I gave them to her. It was a very special moment. I rode off and started crying and realised if every one did this on a daily basis we would all be in a difference place. I believe if we all do one simple act of kindness a day big or small we can all make a difference. 9) Know you doing great! You really are, life can be hard. We said that Janis wanted a pod cast mic and guess what a few weeks later her work was throwing this one out and gave it to her for free! So excited. 04.01.2022 Has anyone else been struggling with lock down? I know I have Im a people person, I love going outside, swimming at the beach and visiting friends! So to fill in the gaps I have stared to learn the guitar. Remembering to start from the basic, let go of trying to be perfect and just practise and play!
