25.01.2022 Singleton Clay Target Club will be opening for practice this Sunday the 19th July 10am to 2pm to all licenced shooters. We will be following SSAA and the current NSW Covid-19 health guidelines.
24.01.2022 ~NO AUGUST SHOOT~ Just a quick reminder that whilst the club has re-opened for practice, at this point we will NOT be resuming competition and as such the scheduled shoot for this Sunday 9TH August will NOT go ahead. A decision on the September shoot will be made closer to the event.
22.01.2022 ~Singleton Club Members~ We know everyone is keen to get back to shooting but at this stage Singleton Clay Target club is NOT open for practice. We are currently considering the Governments advice in conjunction with the ACTA and SSAA guidelines and recommendations. ... We are currently working behind the scenes to possibly open for a trial practice one weekend for Singleton members only. We will provide an update and more information in due course.

19.01.2022 ~SHOOT RESULTS~ Last weekend the club held a 100 Target 5 stand event. A total of 46 shooters including 3 junior shooters nominated from the Hunter Region. ... The weather was great making it a perfect day for shooting. Shooting began at 9.30am and the results were:- AA Grade 1st Geoff Lander 88/100 2nd Andrew Garvie 96/109 A Grade 1st Jason Solomons 89/100 2nd Phil Pemberton 85/100 B Grade 1st Will Grills 76/100 2nd Mark Buitenhuis 75/100 C Grade 1st Bruce Moss 70/100 2nd Jim Worthington 70/100 A massive thank you must also be given to members that helped setup for the shoot as well as keeping the traps filled and working on the day. 15.01.2022 Attention All Members This afternoon a decision was made by the Singleton Clay Target Club committee that given the recent uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 virus and the restrictions on all social gatherings, that the club will be CLOSED from TODAY until further notice.
15.01.2022 Singleton Clay Target Club will be re-opening for practice from Wednesday the 24th June 10am to 2pm to all licenced shooters. No booking is required at this stage as we do not anticipate exceeding the maximum number of attendees permitted at any one time. We will be following SSAA and the current NSW Covid-19 health guidelines.... DO NOT attend if you are feeling unwell. DO NOT attend if you do not wish to comply with these rules. The clubhouse will not be in use, bring own food and drinks. Bathrooms will be opened to you with handwashing soap and sanitiser provided. Make use of all hand sanitiser that is around the layouts. Maintain social distancing between you and all other shooters . Maximum squad size is 5 people. NO spectators at this point in time. Cash will be taken please attempt to bring the correct money. Follow all the information signage that is posted around the Club ALL shooters MUST sign the provided register on arrival Bring all your own equipment No sharing of guns SSAA NSW Guidelines released 19 June 2020 - Outdoor Ranges Gatherings of up to 20 people (increased from 10) Outdoor ranges may reopen at the discretion of the range management. Physical distancing and pandemic hygiene must still be observed. NSW Government requires the following: capacity must not exceed one person per 4 square metres (including staff members); any public gathering must be made up of no more than 20 people (this has increased from 10 people); classes or organised events must not have more than 20 participants; premises must have a COVID-19 Safety Plan; and 1.5 metres distance must be maintained between each person. 13.01.2022 As most of you would be aware the NSW premier has announced the return of community sport from the 1st of July. Once the relevant guidelines are released, the committee will review our ability to comply, before announcing dates and arrangements for recommencing practice and competition.

07.01.2022 ~ 100 Target 5-Stand~ Sunday 13th September ~ Conditions Apply Singleton Clay Target Club will be holding a 100 Target 5 Stand competition over 4 layouts on Sunday 13th September commencing at 9:30am. Cost: Open $60 L/V $55, Juniors Free... Entry Conditions are stipulated below. Please ensure you have read and understand prior to attending the shoot. There will be no exceptions made to these rules. In response to the recent recommendations for community sport from NSW Health released on the 17th August 2020 the STC will be adopting the following measures in order to ensure we adhere to the new recommendations. https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//Pages/cho-advice-sports.aspx These measures are necessary to ensure the protection of members, visitors and the broader community. Access to the club for this shoot will be restricted to shooters who reside within the Hunter Region as defined in the map provided by the NSW Government office of Sport as per below. https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au//nsw-government-regional-boun Please follow these guidelines to avoid disappointment. - If you feel unwell, have been unwell or have any sort of symptoms, we ask that you please do not attend. - If you have recently travelled to an identified hot spot, you must not attend. - No camping is available on site. - No spectators are allowed (except a guardian to supervise a Junior shooter). - On entering the premises, you will be requested to present your licence and have your temperature taken by a committee member prior to exiting your vehicle. - You must nominate immediately after being cleared by the committee on the front gate. - Proof of address must be provided when nominating. - Practice good hygiene throughout the day and use hand sanitiser regularly. - Please ensure social distancing is occurring at all times. - Please note we are unable to open the canteen. Please BYO all food and drinks. - Any one not following Covid guidelines or the directions of the Covid marshal will be asked to leave immediately. Please do your part by following all the rules and guidelines so we can continue to all enjoy the sport we love. Once the restrictions are lifted, we look forward to welcoming our guests and members outside the Hunter region back to the club.
