19.01.2022 The NSW Premier has announced that as of Saturday 1st August ALL gyms will need to have a COVID-Safety Officer on the premises at all times. Please rest assure that we will be following these new rules, with a COVID-Safety Officer on site enforcing social distancing and that members are following health & safety processes. Youll still have complete access to our gym floor and group fitness sessions as you currently do. Please remember that health & hygiene remains important..., we ask that you to please: Come prepared to workout with a towel - we have a strict no towels, no train policy in place. Wipe down your equipment after use and use the provided sanitisers. Bring a full water bottle - our water coolers are out of action for the time being. Please keep 1.5 meters distance from other members and staff at all times. Sanitise your hands, using our sanitisation stations throughout the Centre. Minimise your time in centre - Toilets, change rooms and showers are accessible; However, we encourage you to arrive dressed, ready to complete your workout and shower at home. 13.01.2022 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT Meet Singleton Gym and Swims newest member Joy Devine. Joy is 96 years young, bright and full of energy! Joy has recently moved from her home in Canberra to live with her daughter Terry Kennedy and her husband in Broke. Joys daughter, Terry has been a regular client of mine for quite some time and asked if I could commence regular sessions with her mum. I feel blessed that Terry chose me and had the confidence and trust in me to be able to help keep her mu...m Active through delivering Functional 1 on 1 sessions. Joy and Terry (daughter) will both be having Personal Training Sessions twice a week with myself. We welcome Joy to our Gym and Swim Family. To me this is what Health and Fitness is all about. I belive our Gym is very unique catering for all levels of fitness offering both Aquatic and land based options all under the one roof. I love the inclusiveness our Gym team provide and the large older clientele base we service. I couldnt imagine working anywhere else! Commencing Monday 8th February From 6pm Sunday the 7th February our gym will CLOSE to ALL Members for our Health Club Upgrade. This will include the upgrade of Strength and Cardio Equipment, with the addition of some New pieces The upgrade is expected to take 4-5 Business Days, however as you can imagine there are many variables when it comes to a project of this scale. We will be posting regular updates via our Facebook page and sending member emails. Members will still have access to ALL GROUPFITNESS CLASSES and aquatic areas during this time! From 5am Monday morning members will access ALL classes (including Spin) via the Group Fitness emergency exit door.
